    "I asked that only fabric weedmatting be used and was told that that was all the company used. Have since discovered that not only has Greg used a lot of the plastic weedmatting that frays terribly, he has also left at least one area with no weedmatting under the stones at all. The original quote says that he will use ponga as an edging around the stoned garden but he has used bits of wood that he has found in my carport that were for another job around my home. The paved area was not done by… traditional methods as first discussed. Greg told me that he had been informed of a new way of doing it - faster and same result. It wasnt! The pavers were wobbly, sand kept disappearing from between the pavers etc. Greg attempted to remedy the problem by adding more and more sand and cement mix but the result is substandard. I was a guinea pig. The area was not levelled or compacted and there is no edging to keep the sides of the paving in place. There is also still some movement and I am not looking forward to how the pavers stand up to winter."
