"My apartment block has had Kieren Kelly Masterpainters work on our roof and exterior over the last 8 years and we Directors have been pleased with the quality of the painting and the professional attitude. Kieren supervises his workers well and provides all the correct documentation: Health & Safety policy, contracts etc. This year the interior of my apartment was re-painted. He suggested some small architrave detailing and organised for that to be done at a modest price. His painter Donny… did most of the work with input from Hamish and Chris. My place is looking beautiful! I'm very happy to recommend Kieren Kelly Masterpainter."

"Kieran had a complete house interior to paint within a short time span. He communicated well about what he was going to do (and how he was going to do it, managed his resources to work alongside other trades inside the house, arranged other trades (plasterer, glazier), & more importantly finished the job on time! "This is a tough review to write because Kieran has a reputation for doing good work and he is a very nice guy. Unfortunately the painter he used to do the interior of our house was very totally unskilled and made a mess of almost every surface he painted. There were runs in the paint, parts he missed, bits of the previous colour of paint from a poorly washed brush, paint on the carpet, paint on our wooden floors, paint that has started peeling off the wall and paint on our new double glazed… windows. Kieran came and inspected the work after I complained and I felt like he was dismissive of the problems, just saying "don't worry I'll fix it" but also giving excuses about the age of the windows frames. He did come and personally clean the worst of the paint off the carpet and he sanded some paint runs in the middle of a large white wall then repainted the patch, but now in daylight, the patch almost looks worse than the paint runs. I didn't get him to come back because I was so angry about the poor work and the patch up job. In fairness to Kieran, I haven't given him a chance to come back again and properly fix his employee's work, but the reality of the situation is that the previous guys work needs to all be sanded back and the entire job done again and I just can't bring myself to pick up the phone and start that process all over again. It just makes my blood boil every time I look at one of the surfaces they painted."

"We had some walls painted in our CBD office. Great workmanship for a reasonable price. They were mindful that they were in a working office, and tidied up after themselves at the end of each day. I would definitely use these guys again."

"The exterior of my weatherboard house had not been painted for 37 years. Kieran Kelly’s team were very thorough in their preparation for re-painting, removing the old paint right back to the wood. They were also very meticulous when painting, taking care to protect the windows. The finish is of a very high standard. The work was overseen by Kieran, who kept me informed of progress and provided helpful advice. The painters were considerate and respectful. The quote for this work was the… highest of the three I received, but I consider it value for money because of the quality of the work, the professionalism of the company, and the security of membership of Master Painters’ New Zealand."

"We asked Kieran to paint the inside of mum and dad's place. Craig and Chris did the work over 3 separate visits and were great. Mum can be a little anxious with people but had absolutely no problem with Craig and Chris and was very relaxed with them in the house. The quality of their work is excellent and they tidy up perfectly as well. Totally recommend them. Thanks guys. "

"I asked Kieran to quote for painting the entire interior of the house (2 stories). He asked whether I was thinking of replacing the kitchen, since it looked 'tired". Told him I was thinking about it, but needed help. He project managed the entire job for me, which was great because my house is in Grenada Village, Wellington, but I now live in South Auckland. There were some communication niggles, as Kieran had to deal with both the wife and I at a distance. But on the whole, I fully… recommend Kieran's team. Full marks. Great work."

"Kieran is a great guy to deal with. He was very accommodating when it came to carrying out our job. He was able to carry out other work on the property that other contractors could not, he is a one stop shop. He was very helpful when it came to choosing the correct color combination for the house and the end result was superb. Quality of the work was of a very high standard.
