    "I had begun to think after sales service was a thing of the past, companies are all about the point of sale and new customers, but the service I received from Liz (Mt Wellington) was outstanding.
    We bought a kitchen probably 7-8 years ago and have replaced the fridge which meant that the above fridge doors were 15mm too long although the rest of the cabinetry was still perfect. After a phone conversation about the problem and a few photos with measurements Liz came back to me with a 'no problem, you come in and we will cut them down and re-edge them while you wait'. I was astounded by the willingness to help me after such a long time. That's what I call service. Absolutely unreservedly recommend Kitchen Mania. Petula

    "We are really love our kitchen, it is very practical, even though most of it is black! The kitchen has lots of storage for a smaller kitchen and we really like the mix of colours. Kitchen Mania was great to deal with and made the process easy, especially as we were living in Wellington while we were renovating our Auckland home. They had some good ideas for the design and I threw some ideas in myself which that were happy to make happen, thanks Kitchen Mania!"

    " Loving my new kitchen. The bench top is a piece of art and a pleasure to work on. The black granite sink and the tap detail completes the picture. The fitted hot tap is the "best ' , no bench clutter with jugs and cords and instant access to boiling water. Clean lines and a little warmth of colour in the cabinetry blends well with bench. Spaces for everything.

    "I absolutely love my Kitchen from Kitchen Mania. There were tweaks that had to be made after install, (to be expected). New cupboard hinges took 3 months to sort and perfect, and led lighting remote is still faulty, but this was given to me anyway.
    They always met appointment times and worked with me with after hours visits.
    My main frustration as the job unfolded, was that I dealt with at least 4 people and things were getting confusing and repetitive and very annoying. Graham, in sales, took over and became my main point of contact even though this was not his job (and he was extremely busy with sales). From that time on, he dealt with everything and it made my experience so much better. He was AMAZING. Every day I enjoy my kitchen. Thanks Graham.

    "Kitchen mania were a great company to deal with, and have provided a kitchen we are very happy with. Greg was helpful with design and suggestions of material. There was no hard sell, were given options and given time to make decisions. Installation went ahead on the agreed date, and any finishing touches added once the kitchen was in. The guys didn't mind coming back to have the job looking spot on.

    "Extremely happy with our kitchen, the quality is great and the service from all the staff at kitchen mania was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. We had some building work completed to the room layout which was organised all through Greg and the kitchen mania team, this was completed to a very high standard, very organised with no stress to us at all.

What enthralled us about Kitchen Mania is that they are a family owned business and I am so glad had it not been for my husbands insistance that we go to just one more kitchen designer and after seeing so many others that I was totally all kitchened out. But thank God I dragged myself to one last venture and I am so glad I did because they were Kitchen Mania.     "Thank you Kitchen Mania we LOVE our new kitchen!!!!

    We went to Kitchen Mania in the hope of replacing our original 1970's kitchen with something that was modern, functional and would add value to our house without being overpriced. Greg worked with us to design a beautiful kitchen that met all of our requirements and more! Greg was very professional, he listened to our needs and came out to our house on two occasions during the design process (We couldn't decide whether we were going to keep the kitchen in the same location or re arrange our entire house to put it in the current lounge!) Once we made our final decisions on the design of the kitchen we paid our deposit and everything ran very smoothly. The after sales team made sure we were aware of all of the important dates and what we needed to prepare before the kitchen was delivered. Martyn also came over for a site measure. The kitchen was delivered on time and the install ran very smoothly. We were really happy with the quick turn around of the stone bench top and the quality of workmanship in both the kitchen and in the bench top. There are not many companies out there these days that we would leave our front door key out for - but we felt very comfortable with the Kitchen Mania team and were happy for them to do site measurements and install the kitchen while we were at work. Overall we have a VERY cool new kitchen that we absolutely love!! We enjoyed the process and would recommend Kitchen Mania to both family and friends. Thank you Kitchen Mania!"

    "I was so happy with the service we received from Kitchen Mania I would use them again, and highly recommend them.

    We did a lot of research prior to choosing Kitchen Mania. We had quite a few friends who had used them and recommend them. One friend had been working in kitchens (installing benchtops) for 15 years told us " you just can't do better" after getting a number of quotes we decided to use them.
    Chris was very helpful giving expert advice, and was able to tell me the prices of things to ensure everything was within my budget. I had very high expectations, and wanted a benchtop I didn't think they stocked in NZ all of which Chris sorted. I changed my mind a few times and Chris went out of his way accommodate, nothing was ever to much trouble. Our kitchen installer Jamie was fantastic, a perfectionist, who installed and fitted everything with precision, and made sure the whole kitchen functioned well before he left, double checking we were happy. Its been 2 months and not a day goes by were one of us doesn't say "I love this Kitchen" It is awesome. Thank you very much Kitchen Mania."

    "We find Kitchen Mania service absolutely AMAZING and would be happy to rate them 10 out of 10.

    We asked them to make a 5K dollar kitchen for us for an investment property and got a VIP treatment all the way as if we placed a 50K order.

    Kitchen Mania always delivered what they promised and did everything they could to accommodate our requests. There were a few of them as we had to change the size of the fridge cabinet after the kitchen had been manufactured, we had to ask their technician to come over and re-adjust the hob. All of that was done in an extremely fast and professional way, with a polite email from after-sales service to follow whether everything was to our satisfaction. We are extremely happy with Kitchen Mania team and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They are professional, reliable and provide quality and excellent customer service. A very happy Kitchen Mania customer"

    "We have been renovating our house and when we got to the kitchen after a lot of shopping around we settled on Kitchen Mania. We dealt with Belinda who provided us with great service. We then had the Kitchen installed and thats where the great service ended.

    Our kitchen units were delivered with scratches on them, there were visable chips out of the end units, the gap between the bench and the bench unit was just filled up with silicone (over .5cm). Also even though they use another company the granite bench had several chips and scratches. Carl come out to visit and confirmed he would get these remedied however he told me I was being fussy\". Due to the delays (two additional weeks due to bench needing to be replaced the thursday before christmas) we were 10 weeks without a functional kitchen as we couldnt get the gas fitter back in before christmas. Carl spoke to me as if I was an idiot and made me feel if all the faults were my problem however we clearly explained that this was our first time renovating a kitchen so would like some guidence and given that they are the professionals I believe they were just trying to get a sale through before christmas. They were all recified however I felt they were done so begrudgingly. I would not recommen Kitchen mania"

    Carl Arnold responded:
    "I am extremely shocked, disappointed and somewhat saddened to read Shannon’s ranking and remarks. Shannon came into our showroom on the 24th October and asked for a quotation to supply her new kitchen. Shannon and her husband stipulated they wanted the kitchen installed before Christmas. As the kitchen had a stone top our sales lady, Belinda, pointed out to Shannon that she would need to make a decision very soon as our stone supplier had already indicated they were ready to close off taking orders for installation prior to Christmas. Shannon took another two weeks to order the kitchen and on four occasions prior to Shannon confirming the order, Belinda mentioned she was concerned we would miss out on getting the top installed before Christmas. Shannon ordered the kitchen and paid her deposit on the 7th November understanding that the kitchen cabinets would have to be installed by the end of November to allow for the top to be templated, manufactured and installed prior to Christmas (a stone or solid top requires 10 – 15 working days to be manufactured and installed after the kitchen cabinetry is installed). Shannon agreed to these dates and signed our Key Date Summary form that shows all the key dates. Shannon’s file was passed onto our After Sales Team to arrange the manufacture and installation of the kitchen. Shannon advised our team that her and her husband were going to do all the prep work for the kitchen and sent many emails asking for advice. It became clear to us that Shannon was under pressure to have the room ready and on the 16th November we sent Shannon and email offering to postpone the installation until January. Shannon replied, and I quote,” we should be on track for 26th, don’t really want to push it out to Jan. Again after more emails from Shannon we offered the services of Professional Installations Ltd to help her with preparing the room. Shannon declined this offer. As per the agreed dates the kitchen was delivered on Friday 23rd November and Installed on Monday 26th November. On 27th November Shannon emailed Rachael (our After Sales Service person) and said the kitchen was installed yesterday and the guy has done a great job. However there were a few things Shannon wanted us to attend too. Shannon listed a scratch across both doors on the fridge cabinet, one of the handles has a bur mark, one of the drawers has a gap between the facing and the shelf, one of the end panels has a small but visible chip out of it. The granite top was installed on Saturday 1st December. On 3rd of December Shannon emailed us explaining she was not happy with the chips in her top. Along with the other small faults she felt she needed to discuss these with me. I arranged to meet Shannon at her property on Tuesday evening as this suited Shannon. I met with Shannon and discussed the faults. At no stage did I say Shannon was fussy. The only recollection I have of the word fussy being used was when Shannon pointed out to me there was a burr mark on a handle that was impossible to see or feel said, I know you think I’m being fussy but I feel we paid good money for the kitchen and I don’t think I should have to put up with knowing there is a mark under the handle. I agreed with Shannon and agreed to have all her concerns fixed A.S.A.P. It was obvious to me that the room was not ready for a good installation and I pointed out to Shannon that in order to get a great finish (and one that Shannon would be happy with) the walls should have been plastered before the kitchen was installed. I suggested to Shannon that we arrange for the removal of the top and uninstall cabinetry to enable Shannon to get her plasterer to finish the walls and then we reinstall the kitchen and new top. As the kitchen was functional I gave Shannon the option of arranging this prior to Christmas or wait until the New Year. Shannon arranged her plasterer to start work on 10th December. I arranged for the top to be removed on Saturday 8th December. Shannon advised me her plasterer would be finished after the weekend of 15th. I arranged for our installers to reinstall the cabinets ready for the bench top template to be taken on Monday 17th. The top was remade and installed on Thursday 20th December, a total of four days only to remake and reinstall. I personally attended the installation of the top and cabinets to make sure Shannon was happy. I left Shannon with her saying she was happy with the kitchen and had arranged for the plumber gasfitter (I think Shannon said a friend or relation) to come in the weekend and connect up the kitchen. Shannon wanted some extra shaped shelves that I arranged and had delivered when we returned from the holidays. I am the first to admit there were some defects with Shannon’s kitchen. My team and my suppliers went to extreme lengths to work in with Shannon and end up with a great result. Fixing the faults and the extras I arranged were certainly not done begrudgingly, on the contrary, we dropped everything to accommodate Shannon finishing her room so the kitchen and top could be reinstalled. If by pointing out that the room was not ready and suggesting we uninstall cabinets so Shannon could arrange for the walls to be plastered made Shannon feel I blamed her for the faults, I apologise but would give exactly the same advice again. I do not understand why Shannon would say we “were just trying to get a sale through before Christmas” when Shannon and her husband wanted a pre-Christmas install and turned down our offer of postponing the installation until January. This correspondence was by way of email and like us I’m sure Shannon has copies of this. Without identifying Shannon, I would be happy to show any concerned prospective customer the correspondence we had with Shannon that clearly shows we acted professionally at all times and certainly never treated Shannon as if she was an idiot. I did on one occasion ask Shannon to be very clear about an accusation she was making against one of my staff. I hope this did not make Shannon feel I treated her like an idiot but the accusation was serious and I had to point this out to her. I note that Shannon rates our communication at 20. During the time dealing with Shannon we received over 50 emails. Every email was replied to in a speedy and professional manner. We, our subcontractors and suppliers met every appointment and agreed timing with Shannon. I do not understand why our reliability would be rated at 0 I am sorry that after three months Shannon feels the way she does and decided to post this rating. I do hope one day Shannon can reflect on what was done for her and start enjoying her new kitchen. "
