"We first met Mike Reidy when we were first considering buying our house, knowing we needed a reclad we sort Mikes expertise and advice before we bought. Mike and his team completed a full reclad on our 400sqm home, this included new roof, two new bathrooms, laundry, new windows, outdoor fire and a 100sqm deck. Our house was 25 years old with no ccc. Mikes communication thoughout the entire project was excellent. He liaised with our Architect, the Council and effortlessly coordinated other… various trades people while maintaining a safe worksite at all times. Mike and his team showed remarkable respect for our living space, even when essentially it was a building site! We lived in the house the whole time - a family of four with two cats and two dogs. The quality of the work is top-notch and the end result has exceeded our expectations. His team were friendly, courteous and respectful of our property. Mike knows his stuff, he has an impressive work history and as we learned is very well respected in the Building Industry. He doesn't cut corners in fact he goes over an above of what is actually expected. We cannot recommend him enough. The value of our new home has nearly tripled from what it was worth before the reclad. The photos show before and after the reclad. Thankyou Mike for transforming our home. "Mike and his team completed a major renovation and extension for us. He was professional, managed everything from the start and kept us fully informed along the way. Like any renovation we encountered some hiccups but under Mike’s expert guidance things were solved quickly. Mike is very knowledgable regarding all paperwork requirements for inspections, CCC for the Council. We have no hesitation to recommend Mike and team for any building jobs."

"Mike and guys have done a couple of jobs for us. The first was a large alteration to our house in Orewa. The workmanship was excellent and nothing a problem. We did not hesitate to ask him back some time later to do some more work."

"Mike and his builders have done a fantastic job of renovating my house. Nothing was ever a problem and Mike had many helpful suggestions. His knowledge is extensive, all council inspections were passed first time. The workplace has always kept clean, staff very respectful, invoicing correct and reasonable. Great communication through the complete build, very reliable and competent company. Thoroughly recommend, I am a repeat customer and will continue to use Mike.

"In 2015 we commissioned Mike Reidy to make some major alterations to our home.
The works entailed the cutting out of a patio area to add new footings for an extension to the existing family room. That also required installation of a substantial new support beam to hold up the second floor level bedrooms to allow a single ceiling line to flow from the old to the new areas.
We also renovated all three bathrooms and two separate toilets, removed an existing chimney, reinstated the roof line,… rebuilt the first floor front deck, replaced 80% of the existing windows with double glazed models, added air-conditioning, increased the incoming gas line to support gas hot water heating and repainted the entire house inside and out (including the roof tiles).

Mike was brilliant in the professional way he handled the contract. He also listened to our concerns regarding deficiencies in the existing home and went out of his way to ensure that once rebuilt there would be no concerns over the water-tightness of the house, particularly since we are in a high wind area.

All work was performed to a very high standard and Mike’s staff were efficient, courteous and accommodating, especially since we were still living in the house through the alterations.

We are extremely pleased with the end result and would highly recommend Mike Reidy and his team to any new client."

"Mike and his wonderful renovated my 1950's house. I was extremely impressed from the get-go. He had only my best interest at heart, suggesting insulation options, changes in design, his advice was invaluable. The end result is a lovely modern warm comfortable home that I am delighted with. His sub contractors are top notch. The quality of workmanship, pricing, tidiness, respect and punctuality was second to none.
My phone calls and constant add on's were never a problem and answered… immediately. I could not recommended Mike and his gang enough. If you are looking for great honest builders who take pride in there work, are very reasonably priced, leave the site tidy every day and nothing is too much problem for them then Mike Reidy Builders are the one for you. Will always use these builders and sub contractors."
