    "Had rang before going in to check on speaker cabling . John the owner of the business took my call. He was very helpful and sorted my issue . Went into to collect cabling and found John's customer service to be excellent. They have a great range of stereo equipment. "

    "So these guys appear to have been flamed on this site. Can’t comment on other people’s experiences, but was in there today ending some cabling solutions that we’re a bit tricky. The team there couldn’t have been more helpful. Spent time to understand my specific requirements and provided a solution. Even told me to buy a bit less than I planned because I didn’t need it. Plus chucked in some free earth cabling (yes I know it’s not that expensive.....but it made for a better experience for me)"

    "I shopped at paul money hifi for my dream sound system and it turned out to be my worst nightmare.The sales person misled me into buying a product that was mismatched and when i brought the system home it was of very poor quality.I had placed all my trust into this compay that they supply me with a great sound system for my money as i was willing to spend what ever it took.I had initially spent over $6000.When i took my concerns to paul money i was verbally abused and accused of changing my mind, I exuasted all avenues with these people just to get thier help.Because of thier unwillingness to help i took them to the disputes tribunal several times.The first time i took them to the disputes tribunal was because the sales person misled me into buying a amplifier that was suppose to have a phono module factory inbuilt in the amplifier but found out when i took the system home that the phono module was \'OPTIONAL\'.The disputes tribunal ordered paul money to install the phono module in the amplifier,Since then we started having problem with the quality of sound which was very poor and it affected the sound of the system dramatically so had to go back and as the store for help again.Since i could not get help from them and i could not pin point the location of the fault. I took them to court again.Because the amplifier just came out from servicing i thought thier would be no possibility of the amplifier being faulty.I have a great interst in sound systems and a fair bit of basic knowledge and i knew thier was somrthing not sounding right with my sound system.Because i could not pin point the problem at that stage and had no help from paul money hifi i thought it must be the speakers being faulty so i took them to the disputes tribunal again regarding the speakers.Again paul money was ordered to locate the problem.However that did not happen but me thinking the speakers was the problem john tom asked for $1500 to replace the speakers from the enegy rc70 floorstanding for psb synchrony 1 bookshelf speakers.I could not handle spending such an amount of money for a faulty sound system so i traded for the psb synchrony bookshelf speakers.After the exchange the psb sounded very distoted when connected to my sound system.Finally john agreed that it was a intermitant problem and after alot of convincing he finally agreed to replace the amplifier with the same model i currently had with a new one.When he replaced the amplifier with the new one he refused to return the phono module ordered by the courts.We finally got sick of johns unwillingness to help and disrespecting his customers we didnt go back to court to fight for the phono module.Inbetween this saga i had spent an additional $6500 elsewhere to get the quality i thought i had initially bought.Thier are several specialist hifi stores in auckland that give great after sale service not just good service while selling the equipment,Im from hawkesbay,move to auckland 2 years ago.I read alot about how they present themselves and they consider themselves to be profession specialists but i have every other reason to believe otherwise.I will see to it i recommened all my friends and family not to shop at paul money hifi"
