100%"I recently contacted Kevin on the advice of a friend. The 98yr old gentlemen who I care for, had a roof leak. I was due to leave NZ on holiday, so was concerned this leak had to be sorted! 100%"Richmond Builders revamped our shower and wet room ripping out what was existing, all the walls were stripped back and relined plus new shower lining. They also put in a new vanity where the old built in one was. 100%"We initially engaged Richmond Builders for repairs and alterations to our roof and ceilings after they had been damaged by severe storms in the Wellington region 7 years ago.
Since then we have only dealt with Richmond Builders for any of our building repairs as well as on-going building maintenance. When necessary they have also organised and managed any other contractors that were required to complete the job.
They supply their quotes promptly and aim to schedule the work as soon as… possible while keeping you informed at all times.
Kevin, Dave and the team do an excellent job. They are all approachable, reliable, trustworthy and carry out their work professionally, quickly and effectively at a very reasonable price.

58%"Be sure you get a quote from these guys, then compare with others. We were charged $1450 labour to replace a laundry tub, fit half a sheet of gib, plaster and paint 2sq.m of wall.meter of skirting.and a before and after moisture reading. That's 16 hours at $90/hr. We were stung because this work was conditional on selling our house so we were over a barrel.
Really, really disappointed. When I called him on this he made no attempt to explain, just went silent. In this instance, we feel that your feedback is quite unfair and inaccurate, your comments do not in any way reflect the job we did for you.
