Rummages

I purchased a door which was of good quality and I was pleased with the door but was given a few different prices and had to do a lot of negotiating to finalise the deal.

I ordered flooring which is of reasonable quality. But when I asked for a quote on sanding Andrew never showed up. His business partner apologised and admitted to the unreliability of his partner.

I… confronted Andrew about not showing up to do the quote and he seemed to think it funny.

We had made arrangements that Andrew would come out to view some windows and other items we had removed in our renovations but twice he couldn\'t remember making this arrangement.

I ordered 2 more doors, these doors were to be put aside for confirmation of size. When I returned the doors had been put back and had not been put aside. We then found them and I was given a new quote and the price was written on the one door.

I had explained the need to get these doors sorted as the builder was waiting for them. It took 3 weeks to see that one door had been stripped but the other had not even though I had been told they both had been sent in. I was also told the frame had gone in but this turned out to be untrue.

Upon return a completely new story was given about the price. I was told I could end up paying as much as $700 for a door that I was told would cost me $300.

I phoned to get clarification and Andrew hung up on me.

I find this firm completely unprofessional. Rummages isn\'t the only business of this nature and I will absolutely take my business elsewhere."
