"I contracted with this business to supply a second hand oven as a temporary measure while we have house renovations done. The gentleman who came to install the oven arrived a day late and near the end of the day. I had made sure to empty out the oven so it had no pans or bakeware inside it, these were all stacked on the bench opposite the wall where the oven was situated. Unfortunately I could not be inside the house while the job was done because I was teaching a child to horse ride but I was nearby if needed. When he finished I paid with a credit card on the spot with a swipe machine he had with him. When he had left I found he had removed some of my bake ware. Specifically two roasting dishes. One of these roasting dishes was my grandmothers and I was very fond of it. When I found these items were missing I rang the base and was told to come and pick them up. I arrived and was treated rather abrasively and told to just "look around". I looked around but couldn't find my items. I was told to just take something... the sad thing is they didn't seem to understand that I was upset at having lost this roasting pan and were not really interested in solving the problem. I noticed that the scrap metal bin had been recently emptied and surmised that it had gone to the scrap metal merchants. I feel that this is probably a common ting to do for these people, just disappear off with bakeware to add to the scrap metal bin and hope that the owner doesn't notice for a few days.... unfortunately this is actually theft! I just hope that nobody else will have this experience. However I suppose I did get a temporary oven though it was quite expensive in the first place, worse when I've lost something dear to me and had to spend money to replace it. Not really good enough!"
