"Lee helped me automate the manual gate. While his overall work was good, I found it quite difficult to work with him. Quality on the automation wasn't great. The gate was jerking as it was opening and closing. I did request Lee to smooth it out but he seem to be not happy. Finally managed to get some decent automation, but really difficult guy to work. I wouldn't recommend him."

"I don’t remember any client with the name Toni, I have checked my records from last year. Seems weird you would complain about a motor that is still under warranty and get it replaced! I have been using V2 brand for a long time, Italian brand with a 2 year warranty"

"We had an electric gate that we had been opening manually for years. Lee came and replaced the motor and serviced the existing gate. There were a few tricky issues which Lee dealt with. I highly recommend Lee if you're looking for an honest, experienced and professional person to do your gate job. "

"After being burgled for the 6th time we decided to get some decent automatic gates installed. I contacted 3 people who I found on NoCowboys but only Lee got back to me. His communication was fantastic...the initial contact, follow up quote and then prompt start on the job. We are very very happy with our gate. It looks beautiful and it is so handy to not have to get out of the car every time to open and shut the heavy old gates. I would highly recommend this trader....all of the positive… feedback is totally correct. This guy knows what he is talking about and delivers a high quality product. As well as that he listens to what you want so you get exactly what you ask for."

"Lee has just completed an aluminium framed electric sliding gate for my house in Grey Lynn, Auckland. The frame will support a standard timber wooden picket gate to match the picket fence for my villa. I had several other quotes which I wasn't happy for various reasons and then I found Aligater Gates. The quality of the frame and installation of the motor and running gear was excellent. "Lee did a great job creating us a gate for our driveway. Right down to changing the design so that our dog couldn\'t get through it or under it. If you have an out of the ordinary design requirement or others tell you it can\'t be done, then Lee is your guy. No cheap parts or construction, quality Italian automation gear used throughout. "

"Highly recommend. Lee Installed a new driveway gate at the back of our section and restored the old iron gate and fencing surrounding the front of the property. My wife and I expected to have to replace the iron gate and fence but Lee recommended restoring them which he did beautifully and has brought them back to life. My Entrance way now looks a million dollars. Lee has done a fantastic job, great value for money and 100% recommend, Thank you Lee."

"I\'d like to recommend Lee Porter to anyone who wants to hire an excellent technician.
I have enjoyed his excellent work for three months, a beautiful auto sliding gate, I like it very much.
Before I signed the contract with Lee Porter, I did a lot of homework to find the best technician. I contacted over 7 mainstream automatic gate installers and manufactures, only Lee Porter able to provide the over-all best solution.
I give him five start rate according to the following… reasons:

Price: lowest price (only half of the highest price quotation)

Technical: Install an sliding gate on my driveway is a very difficult project due to the land, some installers even refused to give me a quotation. But Lee Porter made it perfectly with his excellent skill and \"can-do\" attitude.

Communication: Very efficient, by contrast, an installer replied my email after a month.

Reliability: Always on time.

Quality: Very good, world famous Italy brand motor and remote.

Efficiency： He finished work in a month, by contrast, some other installers told me they need three months!

Overall, Lee Porter is a person I trust and I am more than happy to hire him for other work."
