"Patrick's service is second-to-none. We have been very impressed with the professionalism he has brought to various jobs around our new home. For example, he shifted a power socket in our small laundry so that we could feasibly fit and power a washer/dryer stack and did a fantastic job of capping to make the area look top notch. He was even happy to help shift and reposition the washing machine and dryer which went above and beyond the call of duty. "I recently used Patrick and Applied Electrical to install new LED lights throughout my home. This included lounge, dining room, hallway, bedrooms and garage.
At the same time I also upgraded outdoor lighting and lighting on a conservatory.
Patrick was great. He offered some very practical and friendly advice whilst suggesting a couple of other lighting positions that hadn’t even crossed my mind.

"Patrick came out to my rental house in Pukekohe to undertake ducting of the bathroom and kitchen extractor fans, replace a light fitting and to prepare a quote for a lighting upgrade throughout the house. "We asked Patrick to replace some old-fashioned lighting in our house. He came up with some great, economical options. He did an awesome job, arrived when he said he would, and was efficient. We then asked him to replace the switches and power points after completing the lights. Patrick also fitted out our new external office with wiring and lights. "I contacted Patrick after seeing his advert in the Central Leader. To explain the job: an old bathroom fan had died, taking out a circuit in the house as it did so. He assessed the problem then returned a few days later to remedy it, having sourced a new fan. Patrick impressed me. He was easy to get hold of and communicated well. He was proactive in suggesting improvements, like the addition of a timer to the fan, and updating some old fuses in the switchboard. He worked efficiently and… quickly, and supplied a Certificate of Compliance after both visits. He was a pleasant presence in the house. We'll definitely use his services again. I have no hesitation in recommending him."

I had quite a few jobs including a light that was installed by another electrician and was sparking (potentially could have burnt the house down) and Patrick explained why it happened and fixed immediately. He was reliable, tidy, thorough and well priced and explained the difference in products and processes. He even has his own vacuum cleaner and I left him to the job… came home and the house looked like I had left it (with the fixed and new additions of electrical work). "Had a new oven installation to be done. Came across Patrick in the business classifieds of my local newspaper (Manukau Courier). Gave a fair and honest free of charge price quote over the phone that was within my budget. Organised for Patrick to carry out work on Monday between 12 and 1pm
Arrived on time at the scheduled time. Carried out oven installation without fuss or incident. Charged me for what we had discussed over the phone. I asked for a receipt. Explained that he could not give a… hard copy, but would be glad to email it through to me, which I was happy to oblige. Sent through the email later that same day.

Overall, very pleased with service. Patrick is a polite and professional worker, who gets the job done with knowledge and efficiency. I will definitely be using Applied Electrical services in the future, should the need arise."
