20%"We required a replacement roof and informed Carlin it was urgent as the bedroom ceiling had fallen in due to the water. The deposit was paid in March 2022. Communication was challenging and installation kept getting delayed. We were also advised we had to pay more than the quoted price to complete the job which we paid once the additional quote was received. The installation was completed December 2022!!!
I really don’t know why we had so much trouble with this company. 100%"Aquashield performed a professional standard of work, having to negotiate bad weather to organise the setting up of scaffolding then wait for good weather to start work on the roof. Protection against stormy conditions were excellent when working around wet days. Tradesmanship was of a high quality and application of materials on the roof also of a high quality. Our roof was one of the more difficult ones due to valleys and angles of cuts needed other larger companies didnt want to take on.… The job included demolishing of an unused chimney and working with unsound roof structure which was replaced. My only disappointments are a couple of attention to detail matters. I feel the hot water exhaust pipe and the toilet vent, previously brown, could have been painted to match the rest of the new roof. On the garage the rusty soffits left in place behind the new barge board should have been replaced, matching the new guttering. I would have been happy to pay… above the original quote to have these little niggles sorted out.
