"Jeremy is the kind of builder I wish all tradies were — prompt, communicative, flexible, thoughtful, reliable, a great problem solver with high attention to detail. But more than this, he was a super nice person to have around the house, respectful of me and my home.
Recommended by a mutual friend, to fix some rot around some cladding, Jeremy completed the job and also took a good look at the rest of the house and suggested some other areas that needed work, as well as a preventative plan… for some future concerns (joys of an old villa!) whilst protecting the budget I had to work with. He also re-worked the laundry into a much more workable, good looking space. Wish I'd done that ages ago!

Super happy — and now happily recommend him & his team for any residential or light commercial work you need."

"Mark was awesome and easy to communicate with. He worked on the tasks I indicated on time and with quality. He did the following tasks in my property:
1. Put on kickboards under the sink and dishwasher - happy with the outcome of this
2. Installed mirror in the bathroom - he did the research for me and found the mirror identical to the one already installed in the other bathroom
3. Install gib in the man hole above the ceiling - looks good, expected some patching on the outer part though
4.… Installed the clothesline outside - good stuff

5. Grouting work on the tiles - just missed a few spots around the house but no major issues otherwise

6. Wardrobe shelving - again Mark did the research and found the materials for me. Installation looks great and as expected.

He also went above and beyond with other items I didn’t ask him to do like finding the cover for my door lock and getting it shipped to my house, figuring out how to reset the code of my door since my developer is not providing the information, and attempting to remove the hardened plastic cover on my door.

Overall very satisifed with the work. Highly recommend!"

"Mark and his team did amazing work remodeling our home to create an entirely new and beautiful office.
Mark assisted and advised from design, construction and finishing touches. He patiently and diplomatically worked with us and our original design, advising on alternative options that would give a more aesthetically pleasing, budget friendly, functional and minimally disruptive outcome.
He was up front with quoting and budgeting throughout the process and gave suggestions for a range of… pricing options.

The end result was over and above our expectations. We have gained an office that is incredible functional and pleasant to work in. We've had many compliments on the work and how seamlessly the office fits in the house and looks like it was meant to be there.

I highly recommend this team as a very trustworthy, honest, hardworking and reliable option"

"Mark and the team rebuilt our deck over the course of a few days.
They had a high attention to detail, were clear communicators and worked really hard to get it done within the short timeframe.
Before, during and after the build Mark talked us through our options, giving us pros and cons and his recommendations. He was honest about costs and worked with us to find a solution that would fit within our budget. He was patient with us as new home owners who have had little renovation… experience and made us feel very at ease with the process, giving us cost updates throughout.

I never realised the level of attention that goes into building a deck, and how much difference it makes having experienced and clever builders working on it until watching Mark and the team build ours. They were a well-oiled machine figuring out the most efficient approach to take that would still guarantee quality and a great finish.

I would highly recommend Atarau Construction. It's not often you come across experienced and reliable builders like this."

"Mark did an awesome job on our planter boxes and outdoor storage box. Mark helped us from the design process, taking in our requests and ideas to make a great design. Then through to the completion of the project. He spent time on the detail and the finished product has totally transformed our space! He was great to work with throughout with great communication. He made do in a small space with tricky access and kept the site really tidy when he finished each day. I would go out of my way to… reccomend Mark to anyone needing any building work done!"
