Service and workmanship is the best. Friendly, helpful and with plenty of good advice on how to claim and handle insurance companies.
They can't do enough to make sure that the stress has been taken out of the situation.

"I got into a car accident during rush hour and the front of my car was in really bad shape. My guard had pushed my panel so far back that my passenger door couldn't open. I was looking online and found Bakerfield Place Panel Beaters, so I took my ute into their shop and within a few days I had been sent a report on everything that needs fixing etc, along with a quote. Given the amount of damage that needed to be fixed, the quote was more reasonable than other panel beaters and they also offer… AfterPay which was awesome. But outcome of the work done, the truck looks amazing, I got new headlights fitted as well with them."

"Had an unfortunate incident with a branch versus new car just before Christmas. Dene made room for me, despite being full of work. Got me going just on Christmas with a replacement windscreen to return in the new year for a replacement bonnet. Excellent communication throughout the process. To say he went the extra mile to get me mobile before the holidays is an understatement. Returned the vehicle for the bonnet replacement. Excellent service. Thoroughly recommend these guys."

"The whole team were great. My daughter was taken care of over a prolonged period of time, mainly due to her coming back to Whanganui over Christmas but also Covid level changes.
They made it easy for her which I appreciated because she had no one supporting her though this process.
They communicated with us and also held onto her parts for us until she could get back to Auckland.
Very happy with the result as it was her grandmothers vehicle and she passed away during Level 2 last… year."

"Outstanding customer service , took awhile to get my car in the system but they took it in and was done within a week . They made my car look like it never been dented, and would definitely recommend them to others that need a Panelbeaters work . Gave me a courtesy car in my favour to get me to my usual destinations . When I arrived to pick my car up this afternoon, they gave it a quick clean and looks brand new .

"Outstanding service, although it was not a accident repair, on my way to take my son to work, I lost electrics one by one, no indicators, no speedo, no windows, no lights. I took a chance and pulled into Bakerfield Place PB - Taylor was just closing up shop - I waved him down in desperation to have a look at my vehicle. He did NOT hesitate. He quickly diagnosed it may be a loose battery connection, disconnected the battery, reconnected and BINGO - all systems go. Totally went out of his way… to help a damsel in distress. "I contacted Bakersfield panel beaters after our car was involved in an accident,in which the front bumper was torn off and the drivers headlight popped out and amazingly remained intact. Photographs were taken and so thorough were they,that small damage received on the passenger side from another skirmish were taken!!. This resulted,after a discussion with the insurance assessor,this damage being repaired as well. Not only did Dene and his team do a remarkable job of the repair work,they… returned the car cleaned and polished inside and out. I would thoroughly recommend Dene and his team for their exemplary work and would certainly go back in the future if the need arose,but I sincerely hope it doesn't!!!! I spoke with Dene Polglase whom I found very helpful on the phone, he explained the steps of what they would do and gave me estimated time-frame for parts and work involved, also the availability of a courtesy car. "I was unlucky enough to get into an accident while 38 weeks pregnant. The staff at Bakerfield Panel and Paint were extra understanding of the difficult position I was in at the time and were accommodating by dropping off the courtesy car and picking up my car from my home. They were always very polite and friendly on the phone. I would say their customer service was great. The work done was a pretty simple bumper repair from a rear collision and the work was perfect as far as I could see. The… only negative was time. I needed a courtesy car, so we had to wait a week or so until one was available. Also the work took longer than expected due to waiting on parts, but that was fine as we had the courtesy car. In fact, the baby came home from the hospital in their courtesy car! All in all it was a fairly easy process during a pretty crazy time in my life."

"100% satisfied customer and I would recommend Bakerfield Place Panelbeaters without hesitation. I had my 15 year old car repainted with absolute professional care and courtesy, on time,on budget and exceeding my expectations.
Shev and Dene both communicated very clearly what the job entailed and delivered everything they promised. The premises is spacious and clean, easy to find off the Southern Motorway with good parking.
The first phone call to Shev was simple and he gave me an… indication of price from my description. I didn't feel rushed by him or that my job was too difficult or unimportant for Bakerfield. Consequently Shev and Dene welcomed me by name a week later and firmed up the price (actually the same as I was given verbally in this case) and my car was being driven onto the workshop floor even before I left. I was offered a courtesy car too.

Within one week I have my car back in immaculate condition, washed, vacuumed and a sneaky box of chocolates in the passenger seat. Many thanks."

He was friendly, sympathetic to my plight (which had other difficulties involved) and whatsmore actually started and completed the job within a matter of hours. The price was realistic and the job was completed very professionally with other scratches 'penciled out' and even a missing 'V6' badge reattached at no extra cost. "Wow what an awesome team, so fast and friendly, my car was repaired in the quickest time and they gave me a courtsey car to use while my car was being repaired. The colour match was perfect and you would never know that it had been in a accident.
