Brett Skinner - Affordable Heating and Air

Back in October 2019 I paid Brett a 75% cash deposit upfront to enable him to buy the necessary gear. The correct unit did eventually arrive and else but that's where it ended. It is now March 2020, 5 months later. I… have had to employ another installer at extra cost to complete the work that Brett did not deliver!

Every day Brett made promises that he would be at my house that day, very rarely did I see him, there was always an excuse. Eg traffic holdups, trips into Wellington, Palmerston North, doctors, specialists etc, etc, in the end I didn't know what to believe. I have since heard from others who have used his service that they have had the same bad experience as me.

Once again I want to stress DO NOT employ BRETT SKINNER, his behaviour is unprofessional and unethical. He doesn't know how to tell the truth! If you do feel you would like to use his services, only pay him when the job is completed and you have had the work checked by yourself or another professional, otherwise you run the risk of having a system that could be incomplete and dangerous."
