    "Do NOT use this company. After taking credit card details at the time a simple job was booked, Euro Plumbing failed to process payment. Rudy from Euro Plumbing has since sent a text stating "I will be permanently disconnecting the above property from the watermain." All because they failed to process payment to a card that was supplied to them in the first instance. This is an unacceptable and overly aggressive response to a simple issue of their team failing to process payment in the first place."

And be aware their 15min rate doesn\'t apply for fixing the job alone. It includes any work done outside to order and collect parts from retailer or reseller. Our parts were collected from the other side of the town. Instead of couriering, the plumber decided to collect it himself!$"

    "We had our low pressure hot water cylinder upgraded to a larger mains pressure cylinder. Steve came out to quote us for the job and the price seemed very reasonable. The plumber who did the installation (never did get his name) was polite and efficient. He did the installation on a Saturday morning and we just bailed and left him to it. With the installation complete and a check of our system to ensure the tapware was up to the job we now have mains pressure and look forward to our daily showers. Should have upgraded years ago and with Euro Plumbing the price was right. Would recommend."

    "This company is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. No supervision of staff, particularly of those in training, no quality control, didn't do the work as required. They used other trades on site to do work they were being paid for. The work they did do was so substandard another company has had to fix the mess that was left. Services were incorrect in the foundations and some were left out completely, the pipe work and drainage placed incorrectly, house was flooded, gas pipes leaking, damaged property, trenches left open for months, over stated needs which cost thousands more than what was required, drainage issues. Invoicing issues and over charging. The issues were obvious but they failed to address them. They turned a straightforward new build pipe out into an absolute disaster and we are appalled at their conduct."

    "This rating is completely invalid, untruthful and was purely made to intentionally discredit our company. Cherie Jordan failed to pay her well overdue invoices of over 22 thousand dollars. After getting the run around for months with continued no payment Euro Plumbing ultimately decided to remove all fixtures still owned by Euro Plumbing from site until the debt was settled. Up until this point in time both Cherie and her husband Shaun had nothing but praise towards our company. "

    "Have contacted Euro plumbing to replace our Mains Pressure hot water cylinder after seeing their special on www.hotwatercylinder.co.nz. For us, it was a mixed experience. The good bits: - Their price was great. Also, they didn't insist to change the existing valve like some other company did, which saved us money. - Communications was good. I emailed them the dimensions of our storeroom and got a quick response on what cylinder size can fit into the limited space. - The young lad that came to install the cylinder was on time, polite and did a good job. The bad bits: I was shocked to find out the installed cylinder isn't the one I have ordered. Instead of a Rheem model, a H J Cooper one got installed instead. I don't know much about hot water cylinder but I have heard of Rheem and not H J Cooper. With some quick research I've found that Rheem is a more well-known brand and is generally more expensive. Both brands offered the same 5 years warranty though. Contacted Rudy about it. Rudy was apologetic and said the wrong model got delivered to us. From him it was a genuine mistake and certainly wasn't a trick. Initially he offered us a $100 off the work or 2 hours’ worth of free plumbing work. He explained he isn't making money in this case and couldn't offer us further discount. I said I needed time to consider. After further looking, I've found that the H J Cooper model was selling at $130 cheaper on their own web site, so I emailed Rudy again to ask for at least a $130 discount. He agreed straight away (said ‘was absolutely fair to deduct the $130’) and apologised again. I have told Rudy I'll post my experience here to let others to judge if I've got a fair deal. Though I ended up spending less and was told H J Cooper isn't worse than Rheem (other than being less well known), I would rather pay the original price for the peace of mind. I haven't decided whether I will use Euro plumbing again."

    "We arranged to use Turner tap through a recommendation from family. We are based in London and contacted Paul via email, which he promptly replied to and was very helpful. My cousin and her husband, who live in the apartment we own, said the service was perfect. They arrived at the time arranged, worked efficiently to fix the plumbing and left no mess. I am told the job was completed to a high standard. The cost was very reasonable and I would have no hesitation in recommending Paul and his team at Turner Tap to friends and family in the future."

    "Our under floor heating wasnt working so I contacted these guys to come have a look at it. After spending about 45 minutes-1 hour inspecting it, I was told it was broken but they weren't sure exactly what was wrong. They said because it was an old system and parts weren't really available, it was most likely unfixable and they would recommend a new system at a cost of about $4,000-5,000. Thinking that seemed really expensive, I sought a second opinion the next day. The second company had it working within about 15-20 minutes and said it was a very easy fix. It simply needed topping up with water, which should have been the first thing Euro Plumbing looked for. I find it very hard to believe that Euro Plumbing didn't pick up something so simple. The fact that they didn't, shows that either they didn't know what they were doing or they were being dishonest."
    Paul responded:
    "Euro Plumbing was booked in for a casual inspection of your existing Underfloor Heating system with no intention to repair the problem. This inspection was solely designed to establish what type system you have and advise on further action and costs involved, this was requested by yourself. You were not charged for this call and later as per my email in writing you were advised on several options one of which a possible replacement might be required. When we spoke on the phone I explained this was based on previous experience with your type of UFH system. We are very familiar with your Underfloor Heating System and the issues that can arise with it hence it was important to us that you are aware of that. This was done to make you were aware of all scenarios and costs prior to repair. As per my email you were advised that an official system inspection would have to take place ($75/hour). The initial visit was done as a courtesy to you at no charge; the official inspection would have included resolving the fault to European standards. After the email Euro Plumbing was never booked in to officially inspect the system and hence never given the opportunity to resolve the fault. You were never advised that replacement was the only option and I also fail to see where the numbers 4-5K are mentioned. According to your statement the company that you employed resolved the issue in 15-20min. Even if it were just a pressure loss issue as mentioned by yourself the service agent should have also flushed the system, established why there was a pressure loss in the first place, fixed that issue accordingly, repressurised and recommissioned, this would have been the action Euro Plumbing would take. Clearly more than 15 - 20 min if all done correctly. Euro Plumbing take all service calls and solutions very seriously as we provide long term solutions and long term customer satisfaction. Unfortunately in some cases this standard is rejected due to cost. Euro Plumbing has a long track record of satisfied clients, we are always honest and realistic about the solutions we provide."

    "We did a major renovation and found of all the tradesmen we employed that Paul and his team were the most reliable and helpful of the lot. They never failed to turn up on time, even when called in at short notice. The work they did was tidy and we had no issues with all the inspections. The whole house was done on a fixed price and even when we changed some things around which meant they had to move some of the plumbing to accommodate us, Paul didn\'t even charge for the extra work as we expected. Could not fault Paul or any of his team, and the builder said the same thing."

    "Warning! This guy is a cowboy. Paul started off so well and with so many positive ratings I thought he must be good. But as the job progressed he got worse and worse. He directed John (the plumber who did all the work and was an absolute pleasure to deal with) to do dodgy work that luckily my builder picked up on as did the council building inspector. When asked to come and fix the problem (it was so bad that we couldn\'t get consent with it) he showed up, literally grunted at me, slammed doors, left a massive mess then left without a word. Paul seriously needs to work on his personal skills and stop doing dodgy work that the general person would not know was non compliant. I would NEVER use Turner Tap (now trading as Euro Plumbing) again."
    Paul responded:
    "This rating comes as a complete shock. The customer was always a delight to deal with over the 5 months we were in contact with each other. Always pleasant in both written and face to face communication, a prompt bill payer and somebody I would never have expected to receive such a rating from. I have contacted the customer away from this site with the following email: Dear Louise, I have just seen a rating on Nocowboys which think is from you, but I am very confused and concerned about its content. All our correspondence has always been very pleasant and as far as I knew there were no issues of concern of the type mentioned in the rating. I take great pride in my customer satisfaction and am personally very upset that you have responded in this way. You have never brought to my attention that there were things you were not happy with. I never instructed John to do any dodgy work. I assume you are talking about the fact that John did not drill through the wood but ran the pipes between the nogs and the brick wall. When the builder phoned me and said the council was not going to accept it, I personally came in on a Saturday morning to put it right. I apologise if you feel I was grumpy on that day. This could not be further from the truth. If you heard a door slam, I assure you it was not in anger. I also remember saying goodbye to you when I left as you were in the hallway stripping wallpaper. Once again, I apologise most sincerely that you feel your experience with me and my company was so awful and I would welcome anything that I could do to put things right. "

    "Paul did the plumbing & project managed an ensuite for us and is highly recommended. There was an issue with the council at the very end after we all thought that everything was signed off and complete, which only came to light when we were in the process of selling our house and obtained the LIM. Even though Paul was on holiday at the time in Australia, he followed up immediately, kept us fully informed 2 or 3 times a day and followed through as promised. Have also used Paul before when he installed a new Rheem water heater. Definitely recommended and would use him again!!"

    "I had a main water leak on a rental property on a Thursday night and asked Paul to look and quote the next day if possible. He turned up and quoted by 12.00pm the next day. Due to the urgency the quote included the digging of the trench. Paul advised I was paying plumbers rates and to save money I could dig the trench myself. I did dig it myself but hit the water main. I had to complete the work myself with a relative as the tenant had no water, but rang and advised Paul I was happy to pay for his time to date. He advised there was no charge and happy to help me in future. I was well happy!"

    "I can't recommend Turner Tap Limited highly enough! I had a problem with a water mains leak over Easter. I emailled Turner Tap via the website on Easter Sunday and got a reply from Paul the next day (still in the Easter holiday). I okayed the work then and there and Paul was on site when he said he'd be (Tuesday afternoon) and he did everything that was needed very promptly.     "Fantastic to be able to send an email in the middle of the night, so that Paul was able to ring at 7am, knowing we needed him, rather than us ringing him at 7am, worried that we would ringing too early! Job all done by 7.40am! Great service!!"
