    "Bad experience for us with Falcon Construction. It\'s founder (David Reid) fancies himself as a professional master builder with a good reputation. Founder of David Reid Homes etc. Yet the way his company treated us was abysmally unprofessional. They were assigned to repair our house after the earthquakes, and according to their own time frame, should have completed it by December 2013. As of August 2014 (when our contract with them was terminated - thank God) they had not so much as lifted a… hammer. Basic stuff was beyond them - the consent application process should have taken around 6 weeks - but due to their flawed and inadequate application it took 7 months. Then when consent was finally approved by council, they thought they could start our work in about \"three weeks.\" Four months later - we were still waiting. Failed to communicate with us throughout the process - I would only be given information when I contacted them. To this day, have not heard a word from any of their principals or staff - certainly not from David Reid. If they were not up to the task, or were out of their depth with the rebuild (yes and yes), an apology would have still been good...."
