"This comment refers to work done by Matt on our heating system during a period of three months. We had a serious problem caused by diesel bug in our diesel central heating boiler. We very much appreciated Matt's thorough and competent approach to finding and fixing the cause which was really hard and time consuming to do. He also did a great job of installing two radiators for us. "

"We were impressed with all aspects. Ranging from conduct, time, price. The chap who completed the job was very approachable and friendly and I would highly recommend him (if I could remember his name) ALSO Tania has a great telephone manner and both very friendly and was able to be helpful on the two occasions we rang. "Our job involved changing gas fires, supplying a new one and fitting all this around our decorator.
Foleys went to great lengths to work in with us, held on to the new gas fire until we were ready, did the work when they planned, made several visits to suit the redecoration schedules and were quick and very efficient.
All this service and at a cost we were very happy with."

"Was during lockdown for Covid-19. Foleys were punctual & reliable especially during these tough times. The young man who tended to our problem did a great job clearing our blocked boundary trap. "I organised a plumber on Mum's behalf. The plumber was really lovely, very polite, courteous and helpful. He even removed his boots to walk through the house to turn off the hot water in the hallway cupboard. I would 100% recommend him and Foleys Dunedin. Mum and I were both suitably impressed."

"I had a burst water main into our property. I contacted Foleys and Mike was sent out to check out the job. With the old water main being laid underneath the concrete driveway the decision was made to overlay it with a new main along the fence line, this being the cheaper option. Mike came back later in the morning with workmate Darryl and the two made a very professional and tidy job. I had used Foleys twice before and have been happy with their work and very pleasant staff and will be happy to… use them in the future should I need a plumber again."

"Have dealt with Foleys a couple of times, both for urgent jobs on rentals. The administrative phone team are polite and engaging. The work is punctual, within a couple of hours, and they have fixed the problems with minimal fuss and bother. Prices quite reasonable. Would always use again. "

"Brett always does an excellent job. If he says he will get it done, you can trust he will. He is reasonably priced and does not add on extra's that were not done. My only complaint would be that he is too busy :-) but I would rather wait for him to be available before I used anyone else. I can highly recommend him. "

"Jamie came and carried out our plumbing work when we refurbished our bathroom.
He was courteous , polite and very professional.

"A job well done, but a craftily inflated invoice. I won't use their services again. I had to squeeze a quote out of them on the phone and in the end paid a lot more than I had expected. What even is "Vehicle & H&S Compliance" and why do I have to pay for it? The guy may have worked a bit over an hour, and had to go out and get a part because he had used the last ball****in his car the day before (although when I phoned and described the problem they guessed straight away the… ball****would need replacement so he should have brought the part) and I got charged for 2 hours labour, plus the parts, plus "Vehicle & H&S Compliance" BEFORE GST (the quote per hour labour on the phone did not mention it was before GST). Ended up paying $270 for ball****replacement at header tank. Seriously? He's a plumber. A medical specialist doesn't charge that much!"

"Called Foleys out to repair a leak from solar system. Was told that common with this system and that he had a bag back at yard, he would be back to repair. Waited several weeks and many phone calls later and still no job done. I did stress that I would like to have it done before winter came as it would be a lot icier and with the snow coming as well it would be difficult up on the roof. Every time I rang he said Oh I haven"t found the washers would need to order. Rang again oh! can't get… them will order a sheet of metal and cut his own ones. Nothing and still no calls from him.Now it's June. rang again the 15th June and said he would be out the next day. Didn't show up. Rang and he was going to be out on the Saturday at 9am but didn't arrive until 10am because he had to finish watching rugby on TV.finally arrived to job. then you send a large bill for service not happy."

"Major leak from under the kitchen floor concrete slab. The plumber quickly found the leak and seled it off so we couod turn on our water again. He then worked with us to find an alternative to digging up the concrete slab by re-routing the water pipe. He did the job quickly and expertly. I have used Foleys a lot and they always deliver."

"We were in need of a plumber to fix a leaking header tank. I was driving to work and noticed the driver in a marked commercial van (Foley's) in front of me be very courteous and generous to another driver and thought, if that's how they treat people then I'll give them a call.
The girls who took the call in CHC were great and had a plumber at our house exactly when they said he would be there (great on time performance). The young plumber (Michael) was friendly, chatty, great with the dogs and… did a fast, neat and efficient job.

Couldn't has asked for a better experience, thank you Foley's Pluming team, we will be recommending you to all our friends in need of your services."

"The plumbers did a good job mending our toilet. The problem we had was with communication and actually making the booking. On the Sunday night we left a message through the after hours line and requested the job for 9am on Monday. No one showed up to our place until I rang them again at 10, and then they could only send someone to our house at 11am. So in my opinion, they do a good job but they need to be more organised with bookings and messages."
