    "We had a number of small electrical jobs to be done. David was excellent, efficient and knew his stuff. I was particularly pleased he was able to solder and repair the switch on our exhaust fan over the oven. He was friendly and courteous."

    "A job well done, but a craftily inflated invoice. I won't use their services again. I had to squeeze a quote out of them on the phone and in the end paid a lot more than I had expected. What even is "Vehicle & H&S Compliance" and why do I have to pay for it? The guy may have worked a bit over an hour, and had to go out and get a part because he had used the last ball****in his car the day before (although when I phoned and described the problem they guessed straight away the ball****would need replacement so he should have brought the part) and I got charged for 2 hours labour, plus the parts, plus "Vehicle & H&S Compliance" BEFORE GST (the quote per hour labour on the phone did not mention it was before GST). Ended up paying $270 for ball****replacement at header tank. Seriously? He's a plumber. A medical specialist doesn't charge that much!"

    "Called Foleys out to repair a leak from solar system. Was told that common with this system and that he had a bag back at yard, he would be back to repair. Waited several weeks and many phone calls later and still no job done. I did stress that I would like to have it done before winter came as it would be a lot icier and with the snow coming as well it would be difficult up on the roof. Every time I rang he said Oh I haven"t found the washers would need to order. Rang again oh! can't get them will order a sheet of metal and cut his own ones. Nothing and still no calls from him.Now it's June. rang again the 15th June and said he would be out the next day. Didn't show up. Rang and he was going to be out on the Saturday at 9am but didn't arrive until 10am because he had to finish watching rugby on TV.finally arrived to job. then you send a large bill for service not happy."

    "Major leak from under the kitchen floor concrete slab. The plumber quickly found the leak and seled it off so we couod turn on our water again. He then worked with us to find an alternative to digging up the concrete slab by re-routing the water pipe. He did the job quickly and expertly. I have used Foleys a lot and they always deliver."

    "The plumbers did a good job mending our toilet. The problem we had was with communication and actually making the booking. On the Sunday night we left a message through the after hours line and requested the job for 9am on Monday. No one showed up to our place until I rang them again at 10, and then they could only send someone to our house at 11am. So in my opinion, they do a good job but they need to be more organised with bookings and messages."

Our Christchurch team take care of residential and commercial plumbing, drainlaying, gasfitting and electrical work. From leaky taps, blocked toilets and household renovations to commercial maintenance and building construction.

All our tradespeople are members of Master Plumbers or Master Electricians.

We operate across the South Island - Dunedin, Alexandra, Balclutha, Oamaru/Timaru, Queenstown, Ranfurly, Twizel, Wanaka

Our aim is to provide a service to you that is Above and Beyond. Every time. What this means for you is:
Arriving within 30 minutes of the arranged time or the first hour of labour will be free

We guarantee our workmanship and materials (if supplied by Foleys) for 2 years. The only exclusion is for drain clearing work (being underground there is always the risk that another unforeseen problem can occur), and where products or materials are not supplied by Foleys.
