"Geoff worked long hours to complete the job on time and was very reliable, efficient and worked quietly without any mess. Very happy to recommend him and his price was fair in the current market. Knowing that he will turn up on time on the days requested was great (we had rain so the outside work had to be postponed for a few days). Pleasant, friendly and cleaned up well after the work was completed. We had a front door to be painted with trims, ensuite shower room walls and ceiling, which was… in quite a mess after 25 years and a bedroom ceiling repainted after the cyclone did damage to our roof."

"Geoff had previously painted our house exterior and we were very pleased with the job he did so we asked him to paint the exterior of our holiday house which he has just completed. We were so glad we went with him again as he did an amazing job at a reasonable price. You can always count on Geoff to be meticulous in his prep work, he got the paint rep out to advise the best products to use for our badly weather worn cedar boards and also saved us some money by finding a cherry picker to hire… instead of the very costly scaffolding. We were grateful that he stayed within our budget and we couldnt be more happier with the finished result. I highly recommend Geoff and I would be happy to be contacted to give a verbal reference."

"Geoff has done several jobs for me and this time I had a short turnaround time. Geoff worked extra long hours and both weekends to complete it in time for carpet to be laid. So we got him back to pain our new home and his exceptionally high quality is still there. Love his work. Geoff is honest and reliable and we had no issues at all having him at home carrying on his work. "Our apartment complex needed the pool bathroom facilities painted which involved both mens and ladies toilet and shower facilities. It needed a couple of patch ups including making good a worn timber shower step and a moisture damaged wall. All this was additional work was done as part of the painting job and done professionally. Once completed, the job received accolades from all the apartment residents with many commenting on their wish to use Geoff in future for their own future… painting needs. "I am again very pleased that I contacted Geoff for my recent painting job, this time at my beach cottage in Waiwera. He repainted a sun damaged north wall, and sourced and installed an exterior vent cover, so the wall looked complete. I had also asked if he had a solution to some rust patches appearing on some exterior metal panels. He restored them to looking like new! Wonderful job Geoff. "Geoff painted the interior of our basement flat after extensive renovations, painted four exterior walls of the main house and the roofs of three outbuildings in preparation for the sale of our house. The quality of his work reflects his title of master painter and his extensive knowledge of his trade helped us to make good decisions regarding choice of colours and products to use. Before Geoff started painting the interior of the flat, he generously assisted with resolving a major surface… issue with the newly installed ceiling which was much appreciated. He is easy to communicate with and pleasant to have around. We were Geoff's first clients north of the bridge and fortunate to have someone with his trade experience and professionalism to guide us through a busy and stressful time. "I am a repeat customer and again another top-notch job again on my rental property doing ceiling, windows and walls in the bathroom and kitchen. I got 4 quotes for this piece of work and GT painters was right in the middle. He gave me a detailed account of what he needed to do ie, methods and equipment right down to the primer used and where. He was right on time and has always been very clear, fair and open. He is happy to discuss your options taking into consideration your budget. He is… honest - as he started one window, the sanding reveal rot. He informed me immediately and discussed with me, my options including doing nothing. He even sought a second opinion off his own bat. Highly recommended!"

"Geoff was employed to paint the common areas within our apartment complex comprising of six floors and the stair well. Right from the beginning Geoff was helpful in suggesting paint colours and the type of paint to use. He has a fantastic working relationship with the paint company reps who were more than willing to come out to the site to assist us with some technical issues. We found Geoff to be very honest and reliable and his work ethic and attention to detail was faultless. His quote was… very competitive and realistic. "Thoroughly recommend Geoff. He fitted our smaller job (kitchen interior after reno) around his existing exterior work at short notice, worked late when the job proved fiddlier than expected and stuck to his quote. Tidy, good quality work, easy to have in the house and good on communication and turning up as promised. Will definitely have him back!"

"We could hardly believe our luck when Geoff agreed to redecorate parts of our house (including an impossibly inaccessible ceiling) at one day's notice in the week before Christmas. He provided excellent advice, matched up the paint colours, did a perfect job and charged much less than we expected. Would give him 200% if we could."

"We recently had our Sea Scout hall and roof painted by Geoff. He was great to deal with right from the very first meeting. He gave us a really great quote and he was able to negotiate free paint with Dulux for part of the job. A huge bonus for our financially challenged organisation.
Geoff's communication was superb - always very responsive and helpful. He made great suggestions and went the extra mile to get the job done to a top quality and within a timely manner. He even scrapped the… paint from the inside of the windows. He certainly didn't have to do that but it shows his attention to detail and thoughtfulness. We have highly recommended him to our group members and we would thoroughly recommend GT Painters to anyone. If we have need to we will definitely be using Geoff again."

"Our job was a full internal redec of our house including all windows, doors, walls and ceilings.
The quality of workmanship was very good with much attention given to the removal of all imperfections.
Geoff communicated very well to keep us informed on availability and timeframes.
They were very flexible and relaxed about any changes required and were very easy to have around if you are site during their work time.

"Couldn't praise Geoff highly enough.
After being let down by another master painter at the last minute, I found Geoff's details online, gave him a call and within 48 hours he had given me a full quote (which was very reasonable) and agreed on a start date.
He was at our place for about two weeks all up and throughout that time was a total pleasure to deal with. He offered advice on colour schemes and types of paint to use for each area of the house and made the whole process extremely… easy. His workmanship and finishing is excellent and he took extreme care with all our beautiful new floors/bathroom/kitchen etc. and didn't leave a single drop or mark anywhere. He even lent my wife and I his electric cook top as we had no hob during the renovation!

Have already recommended him to friends and family and my parents are now looking to engage his services."

"We were going away for a week so it was ideal to leave Geoff the remote to the house to get the job done while we were away. This helped to avoid all the paint smells and dust from plastering and painting. When we got back we were delighted with the extra care he had taken with our soft furnishings, protecting them from dust. Now we have great looking ceilings throughout the house.
