"The company and Wayne Richards were recommended to me by friends who were very pleased with his approach to and success with a challenging home installation. I contacted Wayne and he's just (Dec 2017) visited our elderly home (coming up 100 years old) which has a few heating challenges too.
He was excellent. Listened well, quick to understand the key info, good at filling in the gaps in my knowledge, measured up the house quickly and sent me a quote that night that was complete and made… it clear what we'd be getting at what cost.
In this regard he was much better than several heat pump cos that have been to look at the challenge. They all gave a quote, but none seemed to be on top of being able to explain how their recommendation was the best fit solution.
Problem. Gas is not in our street. Wayne telephoned the supply company, confirmed its nearest main line, determined the GPS location of our home hence distance from that line, determined how far down the street the supply co would provide a gas line free of charge, and the remaining distance hence cost I'd have to pay.
This is a problem, but I've got the info I need to talk to neighbours. With a few of them on side we'll have gas in the street free. Heating, hot water, cooking - gas has a lot of advantages.
