"In desperate need of an after hours machine electrician, we called upon GNS Electrical who were recommended to us a few weeks prior to our emergency by another industrial factory they work for. We called GNS after hours (1.15am to be exact) as one of our machines faulted which stopped our whole production line. Grant from GNS Electrical arrived within 30mins, Grant tested the machine & quickly diagnosed that one of the conveyor belt safety switches had faulted. Electrical wholesalers were closed for replacement parts so Grant swapped parts from another machine and got us back in operation. From us calling to us being back in full operation was less than 1.5h. There is a reason GNS Electrical are highly recommended - they are very professional, experts in their trade by far & a genuine well established company we will be using going forward.

"Grant was absolutely excellent. We had an electrical issue over the weekend - he arrived within an hour of my contacting him, sorted the RCD and loose wiring problem, identified that a bigger issue was low voltage supply to the house (later confirmed by Vector), contacted Vector for us and kept in touch all day until the issue was resolved. Brilliant customer service and highly recommended"

"Best service ever! Mum's hot water stopped working on New Year's weekend. We phoned Grant and he came out ASAP - on a public holiday - exactly when he said he would. Diagnosed and fixed the tricky problem in half an hour. And he had the necessary part in his vehicle. He left with only our mobile number, trusting us to send our email address. When the invoice arrived, it was more than fair, being less than we would have expected to pay on a normal weekday, let alone a holiday weekend. We are amazed, and can't recommend GNS highly enough."

"Grant and his team did a fantastic job replacing all the power and data points and alarm system in my house. They were punctual, polite and worked very quickly and quietly - I was working from home and apart from the odd power shut off I didn't notice their presence :).
All costs and options were clearly discussed, including the possibility of having to install a new alarm system.
The level of workmanship was outstanding - all rubbish and dust removed.
The new alarm pad was smaller than the original one and the team patched and plastered the hole, then offered to return to sand and paint the area.
Overall GNS electrical is an outstanding company who I would not hesitate to recommend for residential electrical work."

"Had a great experience overall, from the first phone call, them coming to check the property to give us a quote, them doing the work (which was professional) etc. They were always friendly, polite, respectful and clean. They were happy to change things based on our requests even after they had completed much of the work for those parts (at no extra cost). They easily added some extra work to the quote when it was requested (at reasonable extra cost). In summary, I would highly recommend them for a professional and clean job from friendly people."

Grant speedily responded to our SOS, saving us from a second night without lights and only limited power. He quickly identified and solved our problem which turned out to be a quite unexpected issue. He then gladly attended to another job although that wasn’t part of the original request.
