"We were incredibly disappointed with our experience with I-Build Kapiti Ltd.

The job was to fill in several holes in our timber flooring, after the removal of two fireplaces. The work that was completed was very poorly done: The floorboards did not line up and there were several holes that remained. We spoke about this with Daniel and the work was not rectified.

Daniel conducted himself in a very unprofessional manner, inviting his girlfriend onto our property on several occasions, and billing us for many hours that he was not on site (this goes far beyond the time he went off site to obtain materials). Again we discussed this with him to little effect. Our total bill from Daniel was nearly double that of a quote we had previously obtained from a qualified joiner and LBP (who was unfortunately too busy to undertake the job).

While working on the floor of the second level of our home, Daniel stepped off the floor joists into the newly installed braceline ceiling jib of the downstairs ceiling. The ceiling was badly cracked. To rectify the situation, Daniel gave some beers to our plastering team to superficially fix the crack. This both took our plasterers off their job, and did nothing to alleviate the structural damage incurred.
