"Highly recommend Iconic Build! Simon and team completed a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and deck renovation on our 1930’s home. We moved out for 2 months and Simon project managed all the trades, ensuring everything was finished perfectly and to a very high standard.

"Simon and his team were fantastic, replacing 3 ceilings and some weatherboards. Everything from the quote, the work and follow up has been done with professionalism, warmth, reliability and quality. Mike and Angelo were respectful and very considerate of the fact that I was working from home throughout the process. They were friendly, helpful (even moved the cats' food outside for them, as they were scared of the noise) and cleaned up well at the end of each day. "We undertook extensive renovations on our Birkenhead property in 2022/2023.
We can't recommend Simon, the Iconic team and associated trades highly enough. From the first meeting onsite while designs were being drawn up, right until final completion, the quality of work, sensible advice, punctuality and clear regular communication with us and the various other trades was faultless.
They also had to contend with the major Auckland rain events in Jan/Feb 23 and some unexpected flood related… remediation, but didn't miss a beat and really wernt above and beyond.

Iconic Build is a great outfit, highly recommended."

"Simon, Mike and Matida did an excellent job repairing our water damaged kitchen area. I found Simon to be highly organized, efficient and communicated well. He had all the materials and tools, etc. needed all there on the first morning and made sure his team knew what they needed to do. Mike did most of the work with help from Matida. I found Mike to be very diligent and did a very neat, high quality job with very good attention to detail. Overall I felt the job went very seamless and… exceeded any expectations I had. "Highly recommend Simon and his team. Simon oversaw the moving and raising of two houses for us and have built the ground floor under each once they were raised. Simon likes to see progress and doesn’t like the word ‘no’. Shortage of materials meant nothing to him, he just took off round the shops and didn’t come back until he had what he needed.
Finished product in both houses is looking good, really appreciate all the hard work. Do yourself a favour and use Iconic."

"Job was to add a cupboard in the garage/lounge wall and assemble a kitset shed + add playhouse.
Simon came out for an initial assessment and provided good advice and returned later to do the cupboard/lounge wall. Quality of the work was good although I realised after he left he didn't maximise the space in the cupboard which we previously discussed and agreed. Outcome is there is now an unused and wasted 10cm empty space behind the wall for part of the which I wanted to utilise but would… now require re-doing so not worth it. Disappointing but not a major problem, just a little less storage than hoped.

Kitset shed was planned for delivery in May and Simon sent though a date of 9 July to complete the work, and then the week before said he could not complete the work due to other work commitments."

The work was a complete rebuild - 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen living dining, reroof, reclad, porch remodel and deck. "We were put in touch with Simon after some fairly disappointing experiences with other builders not turning up and in one case cancelling the job after we'd done the demo, one week out from start date!
Simon and Sam were amazing to deal with. Easy to converse with about changes to alterations, easy to have around the house and always left the site extremely tidy. Their workmanship is fantastic and of a very high standard. We had a bunch of tricky angles and corners and Simon worked out… the cleanest and neatest way to work with them. "Simon repaired our roof and garage and replaced and restored the floors in our dining room and study. His professionalism was evident in the excellent work he carried out to.a high standard. He assessed the work and explained options. It was carried out on time and to budget. We were delighted with the results."

"Simon of Iconic Build recently completed a ceiling attic, a fence and 2 gates at our property. He was fantastic to deal with and super reliable. The quality of his workmanship is outstanding and both of the jobs came up great. He was also good with his communication and completed the jobs on time and left the place immaculate. "I would definitely recommend Simon, he did such a good job rearranging upstairs of my house and was so easy to work with throughout the project. As builder he also took on some of the project management and dealt with other contractors which helped me heaps. He would text me during the day if anything came up and dealt extremely well with obstacles thrown our way during works. My house was left very tidy and Simon would follow up to check everything was OK. "

"Simon of Iconic Build recently completed a renovation at our house. The work was extensive, including removing or moving most internal walls & changing the complete layout of the house.
For us it was a daunting prospect, which required us to move out & leave the project to Iconic.
Simon communicated with us everyday to keep us up to speed on progress.
He not only did the building work but also managed all the sub contractors, so that the whole process was completely smooth, finished… on time & on budget.

We also had Simon come back 2 months later & fenced the entire section. Again we were delighted.

I would highly recommend Simon Hill & Iconic Build."
