Adam was so thorough in his report and included a lot of detail to help us make an informed decision as to whether we buy a house. The report was set out in a really easy to understand way and read smoothly (especially for someone without any building knowledge!). But what really set Inquest apart for me was the degree of follow-up Adam provided. Having read his report, I had a (long!)… list of questions and Adam kindly gave up his lunch hour to sit on the phone with me and clarify them all. As a first home buyer who struggles to know which end of a hammer is which, this was absolutely invaluable.

They're not the cheapest option we found (although that was partly because we were in such a hurry), but the level of service more than justifies any extra cost. I wouldn't hesitate to use Inquest again and would particularly recommend them to first home buyers who don't have much building knowledge, as a debrief from Adam will demystify a lot of things as well as giving you the beginnings of a maintenance program for your new house going forwards."

During this time, I’ve come to rely on Adam’s expert knowledge and our conversations have given me the confidence… to make risk-based assessments (eg. possible asbestos issues, small structural issues etc) ahead of making offers (or deciding not to). In one instance, the day before submitting an offer the Agent had to disclose that another potential buyer had alluded to under floor water issues found by their builder but (the potential buyer) wouldn’t give any details. Having already had a full and frank discussion with Adam, I felt comfortable ignoring this as noise, when in other circumstance it would have made me question putting an offer in.

Adam and Jodi have consistently gone above and beyond to accommodate short notice inspection requests (which happens a lot in this market) and they’ve always been a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them and the service they provide."

Was at the property the next business day after we called and had the report through to us the morning after that. Very thorough, lots of photos and the online reporting system highlighted the important parts to us straight away.
