"I'm bringing my old Holden across here to Australia. Problem is, it's been sitting covered in my carport for the last eight years, not having been turned over once. I needed a mechanic to go around and get it running so I can get it onto the truck then boat to get it here. I found Peter on this site with close to 100% rating. He has been fantastic. Communicated will with my tenant, turned up when he said he would and got the job done promptly. Even sourced an HR radiator for mine that had rusted through. "Lucky to have found Kiwi Mobile Mechanics. Contacted 3 mobile mechanics before them and no response after they have known that the problem is the starter motor which is not easy to find for my car model. I contacted Peter the night before and quickly responded and arrived early morning after. He had booking appointments but accepted despite his busy schedule. He was patient to look for a motor replacement and was able to replace the starter motor on the same day. Really happy with the service and definitely recommending Kiwi Mobile Mechanics."

"I lost my power steering and broke down in Auckland 3 hours from home on a Sunday. Andrew was helpful on the phone on a Sunday, and organised and reliable when he came out on the Monday to assist. "Having my car die in my driveway - made me contact Andrew through this website. He phoned me back virtually straight away (it was a Sunday) and manage to fit me in to have a look at my car the following day. He came, had a quick look, when got the fuel pump and it was fixed within 3 hours. I could not have hoped for a better service. Andrew was professionally, polite and efficient. "Volvo lover... was Holden fan before that.

Andy is First rate, he knows his stuff, and knows who to call if he gets stuck, like the problem he fixed for me.
I have a High performing Volvo, it's leaked a little oil, a job in any terms that's pricey, and involved to fix, thank you volvo,
Andy diagnosed the problem swiftly, and got straight to work on the issue. used all original manufacturer parts, problem was Volvo sent out a faulty part and i revisited the oil leak straight after Andy's work was done.
Not only did he come around straight away pull it apart, but got the new part in and got it running in my shed that same day. I believe i know a little about cars, by no way am i an expert, but have been able to sniff out dodgy mechanics in the past.

No extra charge!

THIS MECHANIC WENT OVER, ABOVE, AND BEYOND,

To make sure the car was fixed and i was mobile again Andy called me. our issue revisited again the following day, and again it was a Volvo faulty part and Andy dropped what he was doing, came around with in 30 min, was on the phone to the industry experts in his network, he systematically checked the process, replaced the part again and got me running straight away, just as it should be.

something i think any dodgy mechanic would have taken advantage of

my case was extremely rare, there was tonns of chatter on the web of this happening on my model of vehicle on occasions and Andy got it fixed.

"Just outstanding. I can not say enough to family and friends about having Andrew as a mobile mechanic. This month my vehicle was not behaving well at all, first port of call - Andrew. Without any bother he was able to come to University and look at my car while I attended lectures. "When my car overheated without warning 2 minutes from home on a Saturday, I was faced with the choice of a $120 tow or risking further damage by driving to a mechanic - either of which would have to be organised for Monday and would require time off work.
Having assumed that mobile mechanics were more expensive than the common garden variety I had never used one, but in this instance it made sense so I gave Andrew a bell at Automech and since then cannot recommend him enough.
His communication level is brilliant (even popping round when in the area before the job was due to introduce himself) he acts with absolute integrity, the job was completed quickly and the invoice left on my doorstep was well under his original estimate - which I thought was just brilliant. His labour rate is 20% less than my previous mechanic so get in touch with him before he puts it up :-)
