"Kali and his gang replaced my deck. It was a job that required a lot of skill as it had been badly built , when it was constructed. He had to build a retaining wall under it and replace all the foundation and the fence posts next to it. While avoiding the sewage system. The job was done in about 9 days.He is very efficient.ans an exceptional tradie. He communicates well and lets you know what and why things need to be done. The new deck is wonderful and finished off beatifully. He also replace 3 very long rotten sleeper step uprights in my paved area. this required that he lift some very large slate slabs which were all uneven. When he had finished they were very even and fitted much better than before. This has all been done on an 80 year old house where nothing squares up but you would never know to look at it now. He is reliable. and very resonably priced and turns up when he he says he will."

"If you are still deciding whether to go with Kali (K&T Contracting) or not...stop thinking about it....and DO IT.
I was impressed from start to finish.
Kali has been prompt with his communication, offered a very reasonable price, and just got on with the job in hand. He brought a team with him, some experienced and some less so, and it was encouraging to watch him training the younger guys. He's very patient.

I was a bit fussy/demanding - and I insisted on thicker concrete than was probably necessary. Kali listened to my requests and provided me with exactly what I asked for.

The concrete pad he laid is for a spa pool so it needs to be level for the spa warranty to be valid.... turns out my house is not level though, which was only discovered once the earth was cleared away. Kali was quick to come up with some suggestions, and he made sure he discussed everything with me along the way.

I got 5 quotes and although there was one that was cheaper than Kali's, I went with him becuase I got a good vibe. I'm glad I went with my gut!

I'll be calling him and his team back for future work too."

"I highly recommend K&T Contractors. Kali and his crew constructed a fence neighbouring 4 properties which in itself was a challenge. What was to be a simple fence replacement turned into a much bigger project which involved building a retaining wall on which to build the fence. The fence construction is solid, well built, sturdy and looks great. It has a good line along the top of the fence as it follows the slope of the drive. The cost of the fence was fair and reasonable and Kali was reliable and kept us informed during the build. if I need any further construction work I would employ Kali and I highly recommend him to others."

"Kali and his team have just installed a concrete pad for our spa pool and put a gate in our fence. We have limited excess and it was no problem for them to bring everything in by hand , including several barrow loads of concrete. Kali come to the property at least 5 times, turning up on time every time :). He and his team are polite and efficient and left the area clean and tidy. My husband had agreed to some work that I wasn't keen on the design of, when I mentioned this to Kali he immediately came up with an alternative and made sure that I was happy with the end result. "Kali took out a retaining wall on the street side off my house. It had been there a very long time and the wood was rotting and the fence above was collapsing.
He did a really great job and replaced it with proper footings. A neighbour commented that it was a great job and he would like to get him to do some work in the future.
He also finished replacing the fence today. Another great job.
He communicated throughout the job and we had a detailed meeting on site so he knew what we wanted and was flexible enough to change a few things along the way.

"Kali and his team did a great job removing the old cracked concrete in front of my garage and replacing it with a strong and solid pad. It was a reasonably large area (around 70 sqm) and they did it over the course of a week or so. It was also slightly complex as we have rainwater flowing down the drive to a drain at the back of the pad and it was important to make sure that it continue to flow in the right way and not into the garage! Kali was a pleasure to work with and he and his team did a great job, leaving the site tidy afterwards. They turned up when they said they would and they kept to the timetable Kali gave me. Pricing comparisons were favourable but the main reason I hired them was that I felt Kali had a lot of experience and knew what he was doing, and this was the case - he had a clear plan and was able to make it work, Because of the other business services his company provides (fencing and retaining walls) he was also able to make some improvements to our existing retaining wall. We're very pleased with the result (fully rain tested!) and I would definitely hire his company for future similar work."

Communication was timely, and even after a bit of a hiccup where it was decided we would need a small retaining wall, Kali was able to troubleshoot and still get us all sorted quickly. The concrete pad looks great, and he came back to also do the shed assembly after the pad had set. "I engaged Kali to build a 15m2 deck and pergola as well as a 4.5m2 side fence with gates. It was the biggest landscaping project undertaken for this property as owner. "Kali did a fabulous job in constructing 16 meter concrete block retaining wall and a 8 meter long keystone retaining wall on my property. He also did a 150 meter timber fence for me.
