"Neil did the electrical for our bathroom reno. He was punctual and pleasant to work with, and performed the work to a high standard.
We had an issue with replacing a heated towel ladder which turned out to have a different electrical connection from the old one, and Neil was able to work out an answer to the problem.
We will be using him for all our electrician jobs in the future."

"Quick to respond and fixed more than expected. We had some problems with a switch and a light fitting that was knocked loose and Neil fixed everything on the same day. He also did not charge for the unnecessary 2nd call out fee after he picked up parts - other electricians will bill you for this. Thank you."

"It was a mistake to hire Neil for this particular job, we should've asked for a second opionion or a second quote. His communication was good and we just assumed based on his age that he is an experienced tradie. We needed to sort our problem with steam in the bathroom and fix our extraction. He gave us a wrong advice to duct two weak fans together through a 100ml duct, any experienced person would tell us that it would never work, something that other people told us later. Neil's suggestion… was to "let's play with it". We've been quoted for 2 hours of work, it took 4 hours, because he didn't have required tools to enlarge the hole in the wall for the outlet from 100mm to 150mm. The ducting wasn't stretched and cut shorter when we checked later and was also bent which reduced the airflow. The inlined fan was attached to the beam which created a vibration noise, we've been told that any installer would know to hang the fan and not to attach it to the frame. The fan that he suggested was the same capacity as our existing weak heat, light and fan unit, and although we bough the fan 3 times more powerful, once they were connected, it achieved nothing, no succion whatsoever, just more louder noise. The whole idea was simply wrong, we learnt it later. If we were advised at the beginning that this won't work, we would simply install a separate inline fan, more powerful (the duct is 4-5 metres) with a separate inlet. It was a waste of our money, we now need to change the whole setup. The quality of the workmanship is also not great, we had a kitchen extraction done earlier and the detailing was really good, compared to Neil's.

When we told him about our dissatisfaction, Neil offered to cut the hole for the fan, but we lost confidence in him and are not willing to pay again for his experimenting."

"Neil installed some ceiling light LED fittings for me at a Rental. Whilst I wasn't able to attend, he communicated well with my tenant and feedback from my tenant was that she was very impressed with his service, and that he was very careful around her possessions so as not to damage anything. I found his pricing to be very reasonable. I will certainly be using Neil again for any jobs. "

"We asked if Neil could pop in after work to look at our pantry light. He did that and came back at a similar time the next day with a new fluorescent tube which was what was needed. He didn’t charge for the extra travel time. We liked his pleasant manner and his promptness. We would definitely contract him again when we need an electrician. "

"I needed a reasonably urgent job in a rental property. The light and extraction fan unit in the bathroom had failed and blew the socket.
I needed a good electrician soon. Rang Neil at Lightbulb Electrical, (Looked up in No Cowboys) and he gave me a time he could be there.
He was on time, did the repair efficiently and the tenants gave me a good report on his work.
I have since used Neil a few more times since with excellent results.
I recommend him."
