If you're knowledgeable yourself such that you can keep on top of errors in case you get a less experienced draftsperson then you'll be able to obtain a decent set of design documents for a decent price. 100%"We had employed Measure and Draw for a previous modification to the property, and when we needed to get a carport built knew exactly who to contact again. After providing a picture of the carport we were after, M&D provided a quote which included designing and submitting the design to council. This was great as it meant I didn’t have to deal with the council. Jinal started working on the design and in very short order provided exactly what we were after. Slight tweaks to the design were… catered for promptly, and once the design was submitted to council, all queries from them were again dealt with quickly and efficiently. We were under time constraints to get the BC issued within a month, and thanks to Jinal that’s exactly what happened. Chris Grimshaw and many others who had worked for Brendan Butler had since quit because of the amount of projects taken on by Brendan in order to just get money coming in with very little to no management ability to get jobs done on time. with multiple hidden costs that they don't inform you of, in their initial quotation. We had a very different experience to everyone else..
-No communication about what stage the process was in,
-Limited consultation by the designer and engineer about what we wanted, which resulted in plans submitted to council that had incorrect windows.(even after being supplied with our concept drawing).
We waited a total of 6… months which I feel for the project was quite long.
-The proposed cost of project submitted to council by measure and draw fell short by $70k
I felt badly represented by the team at measure and draw,
I wouldn't rate this company at all and wont be recommending or using again..

98%"Chris & his team were great to work with. Emails were responded to within 48hours and any questions or alterations to the plans we requested were actioned in a timely manner. We were also kept up to date on the progress of our project as well, which was appreciated.
The two people who came to measure the site were very friendly and professional.
There was a slight mix-up with a site visit appointment which meant they showed up to the site on the wrong day when no one was home. They… measured the outside of the house (since they were already there) and rescheduled another time to measure the interior. Even though there was a slight hiccup, they were proactive (did what work they could from the outside) and suggested a solution to ensure there was minimal inconvenience to me. So extra points for that.
