MicroMall / Flooring Contractors in Wairau Valley (North Shore)

I purchased an off-grid solar kit from MicroMall approximately 6 months ago. After some initial issues in the delivery of the batteries (it took several months to receive them) the system was set up and appeared to working as expected. However, recently one of the batteries has developed a fault. Since the kit comes with a 1-year warranty and the batteries comes with a five-year warranty, I… contacted MicroMall via email and their support page for help. With no reply from either after a month I took the battery to them to discuss. I was confronted by a very aggressive staff member who constantly yelled at me when I tried to discuss the problem. He wasn’t open to discussing the issue and was defiantly pushing the blame onto me (he argued that the default settings of the invertor weren’t correct for the batteries – even though the solar panels, invertor and batteries were supplied by MicroMall together as a kit). After enduring a tirade of abuse and not getting anywhere near a resolution I abandoned any hope of getting help or support from MicroMall and left.

I noticed that while I was being yelled at, another customer had turned up with a product looking for support – I can only assume that their enquiry ended in a similar manner to mine.

My advice is: if intend to buy anything from MicroMall then do so with the understanding that it comes with no warranty or support."
