  "Nothing is Perfect!
  However, when it comes down to a thorough, quick, efficient and effective mechanical repair, Dan the operator and owner of Quay St Midas, has a genuine concern to deliver old-school service.
  I had finally found a trusted supplier to take care of my vehicle as Dan is a person who is virtually all over the workshop floor coordinating and juggling his talented staff from job to job (European and Japanese specialist).
  I have been motoring for 3 decades and I stumbled across… Dan 10+ years ago as his location on the fringe of the CBD suits my daily routine.
  
  What makes Dan and his service sustainable is the attribute is that he works just as consciously and as hard as all his staff, creating a respectful work environment, where this energy creates effective efficiencies and a sound work ethic amongst his "Team Danny".
  
  I hope Danny does not retire any time soon as this will be a great loss to Auckland CBD "On the move fossil fueled Motorists".

  "For once, I found a workshop where the technicians were as professional as expected and delivered on what they assured me of. They had diagnosed the fault of my car and repaired it within the quotation and had kept me in the loop as the repairs were being carried out. At the time of payment I was also advised on some other minor defects that were picked up by the tech which needed attending to and were subsequently dealt to whilst at it to my surprise .Under promised and over delivered for sure."

Needed to get a rear light and cover fixed and Dan was straight on the ph to get parts transferred from another branch that day and told me it would all be done in the arvo and it was. He even contacted the Testing Station down the road for me so I didn't have to take the car back to get the WOF he sorted it all for me. I was soooo impressed with the service and efficiency of this Midas I will definitely be taking my car there from now on.… I just appreciated the service and the transparency regarding the cost and being a woman who's been ripped off before by other mechanics this means alot.   "I would highly recommend using Midas , Dan the manager is very courteous and professional and any work we have done is done promptly. I like the way he contacts you if there may be any delays due to parts needed etc, and rings you with a quote.
  No nonsence, and what is required to be fixed is fixed, and anything that may need attention at a later date is relayed to to, not extra things you havent asked for.

  "had a warrant of fitness defect repair done on my exhaust system the job was done on time and cost less than the original quotation. They even went out of their way to get the warrant rechecked for me so I would not have to go back way to go guys. The price I paid was very fair car was washed and vacuumed for me at time of pickup. Talk about going the extra mileI will definately go back thanks Dan for the great work keep it up.

  "I had taken my car to Midas Quay st to have my brakes fixed. The staff informed me that both rear brake pads, calipers, and rotors needed replacing. After inspecting everything myself I decided to only have the rear pads and calipers replaced. There was nothing wrong with the rotors, no grooves, wear, nothing!
  They then informed me that the job would be done by 10am the next day and that they would phone me to pick up. I received no phone call and ended up picking the car up at 2pm.
  I was… then charged, for what I feel is far to much for a simple job. 3 hours work and parts, $536.89. Yeah I should have gone somewhere else!
  
  Oh yeah, and they bent the car lock.
  
  Not recommended!."
