    "The plumber showed lack of foresight I nearly ended up with a toilet placed right in front of a bathroom door which mean climbing over the toilet to get into the bathroom, the toilet is still not is the correct place but it is manageable! Also I later found out a mistake was made with digging pipes into the concrete that meant redoing the job taking an additional 3hours. This was never mentioned to me and look like i paid for the extra 3hours labour. I am still fixing the incorrectly drilled holes for plumbing in my bathroom wall. If you are prepared to be on hand at all times and supervise or have an extremely details plan you will be OK."

    "Just wanted to say we had power out from 10am Sunday morning - with fingers crossed that it was all going to kick back on and by 2pm decided it really wasn't going to happen ! Husband had hosed down the deck and got some water in some of the electrics ! Within half an hour of calling Mr Walker Micheal was on site and fixing the problem in no time ( yes on a Sunday ) The job was covered by the call out fee and we were back on the grid - Must say husband had called two other 24 hours service electricians who appeared first on Google hit and they were not interested - either trying to put us off until Monday or just didn't answer - so Thanks you fantastic service - Husband also forgiven for fusing in the first place !"

    "2nd may, received a very large water bill 400% higher then usual, turned off at meter straight away, phoned office number, spoke with a very lovely lady who organised shawn to view my water leak problem, i asked for all costings and we discussed the need for leak detection services as well as a plumber, she said if i needed both there would be 1 invoice sent by email. it was late afternoon on a friday, no1 in auckland was available to come before monday, shawn came monday as expected was very friendly etc etc, tried to locate leak, could not, fixed my toilet while here, which was great, and made contact with leak detection services, who came next day and located the leak underneath my concrete driveway, he marked all necessary places for plumber (shawn) to repair leak or lay new main from meter to house, he also asked for payment by cheque right then, i told him about the 1 invoice bla bla, he said shawn told him to invoice separately, all good, i paid him, on thurs 8th, i received an email from shawn with invoice and quote for repair, i queried the invoice as being incorrect with regards to timings and vehicle charge, i also queried quote which was just under $2000 and requested it be itemised, as i went to RD1 and priced what was needed to repair, received amended invoice with correct timing but no answer to what a vehicle charge was? in the meantime i contacted 4 other plumbers and asked for quotes to repair etc, i paid amended invoice, the main will be replaced from meter to house tomorrow morning by a pukekohe plumber for under $500??????????? i have no complaint with shawn work or friendliness just the costings, the person who takes the initial call needs to have all information at arms length and it needs to be correct, so there are no hidden costs when receiving the invoice, also workers need to take their timings from their gps so that is also correct, i would not recommend this business to anyone, thanks"

    "Not happy with the level of service i received from this company at all! First we were quoted to replace our water pump $500+ gst plus the labour cost. I even sent a photo of the previous model and brand and the lady confirmed over the phone that it will be around that much. So we put aside around $1000 - $1200 max for those job. Nick came in and did the job, he walked in with muddy boots inside our house and went straight into the bathroom and sort things out for us. My wife asked how much in total, and he said it will be cheap and left without giving us invoice. 3 months went by and hear nothing nor receive any invoice both through email or letter. Then one day we recieved a statement that our waterpump bill is overdue and it will cost us $1900!! My wife sent an email right away, 3 times over the period of couple of weeks trying to reconcile the invoice but no reply. Nick called and left a message this morning and said to my wife if we didnt pay, he will come down and take back the waterpump. What kind of level of service was that!? First there are absolutely lack of communications, and then threatened us? Its not that we dont want to pay but follow the procedure of business ethic please. I will not recommend this business to anyone!!"

    "We had a new two storey extension wired up and a switch board put in. I had to constantly chase Gavin as he was often late and never called to let us know. He severely underestimated how long things would take which caused us alot of inconvenience with our move in date. He was very unsure about the whole proceedure of wiring up and connecting to the existing house. His workmanship in wiring the switch board required remedial work from another electrician when we came to the second part of our project. I would not recommend this company."

    "I was charged $134 for a guy to turn on a tap, and then $610 for a water uv lamp and filter, which took 2.75 hours to fit. When queried I was told that 1hr 46 mins was taken to locate water lamp, \'track down\' replacement, and to install. They claim that the sytem had to be drained and tested BUT guide for this system says that this is NOT necessary. Beware, they charge for their own ignorance i.e. time they spend looking for items they sell, as \'experts\' they surely know these things ! Will NOT use ever again"

    "Mr Nigel Hemmington, As discussed in detail over the phone twice & via emails, & as forwarded to you via post a GPS breakdown of time spent on your requested work: We were requested to pick up & locate a replacement U.V. lamp for your water system & while one of our Registered Electricians was on site checked your water supply filters as well to make sure these were o.k. Mike advised & showed your wife these required replacement (the suppliers recommend cleaning after 6 months & replacement after 12 months). She confirmed to do this. I cannot apoligise for being thorough - our team is trained & qualified to do this as part of their qualifications & company policy. We feel we have gone out of our way to explain the details of the resonable invoices, as both were carried out at the request of yourselves. I personally requested you advise us of what you would like to do to resolve this. Thanks for your feedback & we look forward to you settling your overdue account."

    "Very disappointing experience. I was not at all impressed with seeing a staff member going through our cupboards in an area of the house well away from were I showed the power connection. Received rude email from Mr Cain written in red and not factual when refering to ccv footage. Only asked if we had it and not that he wanted a copy of it. Invoice had items not supplied. We also was told after they broke the light fitting that WE would have to pay for another one. Also I have on several occassions asked for a code of compliance and here we are 3 months later and we still have not received same. Not at all impressed with this company."

    "Nicola & Robert Williams: Thanks for your review. We need to get the points correctly reported 1st. As for one of our team members looking in cupboards - it was very clearly stated that he was looking for a power supply to tap off for your heated towel rail supply - which we were told by yourselves was there when it was not. (this is acceptable for team members to look in cupboards for such, including manholes etc when a home-owner is not home to ask) We very very strongly defend this. My email dated 23 April 2009 was never rude & my reply via email was simply in red to show my answers to points clearly apart from your comments - very clear. Points raised in you review regarding materials & light fitting cost were at the time clearly explained as a mix of miscommunication between our man & your wife - & your interpritation of this. Again this was discussed clearly in writing. Items in dispute: (as discussed in writing on same email) - the light fitting was paid for by us, & was never charged to yourself, & the lamps not supplied was an instruction from your wife so you could supply your own - these were purchased originallly & then credited from your invoice. I am disappointed that you find this form of contact appropriate - we do not. I look forward to your feedback. p.s. sorry about spelling mistakes!"

    "We were putting in a new kitchen and didn't quite know what we needed and when - just knew we needed a plumber and electrician. Rick organized everything for us and couldn’t have been more helpful – and even with a small mis-communication at their end, they quickly fixed it and got everything back on track within 15 minutes. Without exception, every one of the tradesmen were polite, courteous, hardworking, incredibly helpful and accommodating. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Rick and his team to anyone."

After a really bad customer service /parts department at Delongi stuffed up big time Robert and the team pulled out all the stops to get my element for my oven to me. With no thanks to Delongi what so ever! Thank you so much for going over to the parts department in person and picking up my element, especially when the part in question was meant to have been sent via courier! Robert came to my house early this morning as promised to fit the element knowing we had been without an over for over a week!     "Phoned "Mr Walker" at about 7.10am this morning, a in sink erator leaking madly into my kitchen draws and onto the floor. Within 20 mins Gareth has arrived, fixed problem and even tightened a few loose taps around the kitchen. Job all complete and gone by 8 am. Outstanding!!!! To be honest at point of writing this review I have yet to see bill however whatever the cost It will be nothing compared to the fact that my problem has been solved and I can still get on with my day. Excellent Service , a few other businesses could learn something from this crowd. :-)"

    "Although I haven't had my bill yet I have a very good idea of how much it's going to cost and considering they turned up within an hour of me ringing even after they said they might not be able to make it for 24hrs I'm pretty damned impressed. The plumber was polite, tidied up after himself and even double-checked the purchase price of a new tap after I'd told him to go ahead regardless."

    "No complaints about any aspect of the work done. Although the pilot light was not relit after the job, one phone call had them out within 20 minutes and relit. It's nice to find a company that isl personable, communicative, and efficient. In fact they saved me over $350 in call out fees, which they didn't have to do. Highly recommend these guys."

    "I was not really happy with the service he provide. I called for a quote for my gas oven. I already turned off my gas bottle for my safety before I called him, He came over, I showed him the problem he checked and just took off only three words I hear from him keep in touch that's it and he send me the price I have to pay $197.50 nearly $200.00 for his 10mins he spent in my house for doing nothing. It's too much. Why should I pay for this?. Not really happy with your price and your servce. I will never recommend your service to anyone. NOT HAPPY CUSTOMER."

    "Chris the plumber gave us prompt service, had a good knowledge of our situation upon arrival and was very quick to fix the problem. Everything was explained as he was fixing the leak. We were losing a lot of water in our kitchen so it was great to ring Mr Walker in the morning and have Chris arrive within the hour. I would highly recommend Mr Walker for their great service! "
