    "Old School advertised via a Treat Me voucher - the initial meeting was good as there were two primary jobs we had been struggling to get a builder to complete for some months. A local business looking to secure some work we were keen to support them.
    Finally deciding on giving 1 of the jobs (build and install a trellis screen and gate) to the company - we were fairly advised of how the discounted voucher would pay for the work quoted and any additional payment to be made.
    From there and… having paid the invoice in full communication began to lessen. Claims that the messages were out of mobile range from other jobs being completed, for example. We were advised that there was a delay in the trellis being made, to which Old School had to go out to the vendor and demand their money back according to the feedback. More delay upon the trellis being made elsewhere. Once the work was undertaken - the screen was temporarily secured (as we were advised) and a permanent fix would take place later .Also, the gate post was too short, the latch secured too high and since then the trellis (no crossbar added for support) has come apart. eMails and texts have had no reply since then and no attempt to complete the job has been made.

    The builder hired for our second job was shocked at the quality of the work done and has fed back to us on the issues - we may now have to pay someone else to get this rectified as Old School Builders have dropped off the face of the earth...    "
