    "Job was to add a 6-7m2 addition to our existing deck and flip/refit new boards to old deck plus 2 small plumbing jobs. Quoted 2 weeks, we ended the job prior to completion after 7.5 weeks given we could see it was going to go on for more weeks and felt we were being milked for max profit.
    Workmanship was ok in parts and poor in others, deck boards layed crooked, out by 70mm against the house, and happy to charge us the extra labour to relay them. (reluctantly agreed to credit 2 hours… although he'd told us it was half days work to re-do it) end railing fitted crooked. Deck boards were uneven accross the main thoroughfare with alternating old and new boards (different profile) yet this was his suggestion, which left us with a mini lake every time it rains, when complained afterwards, said that's what when you use old boards, and according to him we'd made only 1 nice comment over the whole job ( which is incorrect), he was not coming back, and wished us good luck.

    Many other errors such as foundation post on a lean, cut wrong height etc.

    Sent rude text message telling us to be considerate where we park our cars yet had declined our offer to move cars the 2 times prior), came home to find he'd nailed our doors shut and put a rude sign in our window saying we were a problem! From about week 3 onwards, stopped communicating, never knew when he was going to turn up, had to chase him.

    Labour cost went well over the quote by $1500 and the job was only 3/4 done.

    Had an issue whereby his sub contractor plumber fitted flashing wrong way, flooded laundry in storm, he fixed at n.c then it happened again the next day, we fixed, he did check again and n.c. which was appeciated but no compensation or remedial work offered to fix the swollen door which still sticks or address damage to interior wall etc.

    Side railing also fitted without noticing there was a 40mm difference from one end to the other. My husband had to fix it up.

    Left the mess for us to clean up after we'd asked him to put the rubbish in our trailer.

    Apparently just had a court case with another neighbour in the area... I wonder why?    "
