When we came to inspect the work, they had completed, we found to our surprise they had also sorted the door problems at no extra cost. The first time was to have the whole exterior of the house painted. We have an older house and the first thing the team did was to replace all the hinges on the windows.

Damian surprised us with an earlier time slot to do the job so away we went. We had cedar weatherboards that had originally been stained and then painted over in 2005. It was a mess: rotten boards everywhere. No worries said Damian, we will get our… builder Dave to quote you and get this sorted out. And so he did. Special care was given to the boards to ensure minimal seepage of the original stain. I would suggest that if you have a cedar clad house, get some good advice from cedar specialists like Damian and his team.

Damian warmed me a cast of thousands would arrive after a very thorough water blast. And so they did. Ably led by young Mark, our windows were all filmed up and away they went. Had weather and board replacement not intervened, our 2 storey, 4 bed house house would have been easily been completed in a week. Sanded, sealed, prepped the new boards, painted our plaster walls, sanded our front door and made it look brand new.

Polite, tidy, respectful team, great workmanship and excellent advice on appropriate colours from Damian, we are thrilled with the end result. I can’t sing their praises enough. Thank you so much. 8 months on we are still so happy with the result and I’m referring everyone I know to Painters inc."

Damian arrived with four painters, we briefly spoke and left them to it, they were polite, respectful, and very tidy, they protected our carpet with a clear film and all furniture was covered with clean heavy… duty drop cloths, at the end of the day, the house was left tidy and organised, in areas we needed to use, drop cloths were removed, the floor clean of dust and furniture returned to original position. All their gear was left tidy in one room and we could still access thru the room to an adjacent room. We thought the finished work was of a high standard, the bay window wasn’t in great condition unpainted, we were very happy with how they sanded and filled the holes and imperfections and the final finish.

The job took 2 days, Damian came on day 3 to look over the finished work, and made a few touch ups and vacuumed up any residual dust. He left us with the unused paint and did a wee freebie sanding down a French door sill and undercoating for me to complete when dry. Damian and team did a fabulous job, we will use them again and we recommend them without hesitation."
