"Jason did a wonderful job turning our main internal hollow doors from a very tired & scuffed 1950's look to a clean & fresh modern look . He is a great communicator, turns up when he says he is going to or lets you know immediately if there are changes to plans. We were grateful he was able to complete the job in (under) the time frame we had, which was pretty tight. Good value for money and we are very happy with the result."

"Jason is a top bloke that goes the extra mile with his work. We used Jason to transform a tired rental. He removed the wallpaper, prepped all the walls properly and painted it to a high standard. He prides himself on his quality and treats the finish as if it is his own house. Very reliable, communicates well and just a nice guy to work with. Would recommend and use again."

"I've been using Jason of Platimun Coatings for many years. As a landlord I have hugely appreciated his high work standards and punctuality. He has always left the home in a tenant ready / friendly fashion and the tenants have always had a positive experience.
Jason talks through the job, giving information about each part and options (i.e. you can paint over the wallpaper on this wall but its not good enough on this one, so you could strip and plaster it all, or split it and only strip some)… which allows me to make informed decisions in relation to my investment.

He also points out areas that need repair now or in the near future which I may not have noticed.

I'll use him again in the future when my homes need some love, but he's already done a great job on many of them so I won't need to call him for a while."

"We installed a new built in gas fire with a mock chimney. Jason did an excellent job of
plastering the new gib for a perfect finish. Repainted the lounge and kitchen to a perfect finish. Jason has done plastering and painting work for the family since 2016. We highly recommend. "

About us
Platinum Coatings has been operating since 2012. I completed my apprenticeship in 1992 and have been painting ever since. Being able to transform just a room or an entire house and seeing the satisfaction from clients is very rewarding.
We can provide expertise in all areas of Painting and Decorating, from set up and colour choice, care and protection, through to completion.

What we do
Painting and Wallpapering is my specialty although I learnt plastering very early on. This can be very beneficial as clients don't have to worry about getting a plasterer in. The job can then move along a lot faster as there's no waiting for the plasterer to turn up.
