"Recently I needed my toilet fixed. I tried several plumbers but they either didn't answer or were too busy to do my job. Someone suggested Plumb First. What good advice. Gagan could not have been more helpful, especially when the job turned out to be a bit more complicated. I would have no hesititation to employ him again."

"I found Gagan to be very knowledgeable about his trade. When I described the issues to him he immediately suggested a couple of things that could be wrong so he was prepared with the replacement parts when he arrived at my home. Gagan works very quickly and when needing to replace items makes suggestions as to what would be the most cost effective, instead of what is the easiest."

"Awful. We called Plumb First to get a water leak fixed and arranged for them to come the following day. The plumber arrived in the street early but waited in his van until the arranged time. We were charged for his time waiting.
After presenting at the door he assessed the job and then went for parts, he advised 20 minutes but took 50 minutes. The trip is under 10 minutes each way so I don't know what he was doing for the other half hour. We were charged for all of this time.
On his return… he struggled for about an hour, failing to make the required connections. The plumber simply didn't have the skill to do a fairly simple job. He left, to return later. In this time no progress was made but we were charged for it.

He returned, cut off his previous work and then waited for an hour for Gagan to arrive. We were charged for this time waiting.

After Gagan arrived the job was completed in 50 minutes.

Gagan is an expert at overcharging. When we disputed his bill he threatened to send it to debt collection, rather than admitting his charge for time waiting was unjustified.

Avoid Pumb First at all cost."

"When we accepted your job We explained all the chargers and you agreed to it over the phone conversation. We try to carry as much stock as possible but unfortunately we do come across pipework which requires special fittings. Its impossible to go to East Tamaki From Meadowlands in 10min At 8am week days. As explained on our website If we are required to source additional parts specific to your job, you will be charged for the time taken to source these items. On that Day due to rain were unable to Glue water main fitting under water as per your wife requested us to return back in afternoon to carry out the repair. When we returned we found some more damaged to the pipe. When the customer contacted us with his feedback we offered a refund towards the account which was ACCEPTED. We do not like to get poor feedback which is why we always try to put it right with our customers, as we want them left happy with the job and service from Plumb First Ltd. Plumb First is always open and available to discuss an invoice or job that a customer may be unhappy with, we are available 24/7 via our email and Mobile""

He has great communication, texting to keep me informed of his arrival time and is always pleasant and friendly.
On both occasions he has done work for us, he has managed to fit us in to help us out. Once when another plumber just didn't turn up and then on a job that we needed urgent same day service.

"Gagan was recommended to me by the first plumber I called, who couldn't meet my schedule. It was a great recommendation.
The job before mine took less time than expected and Gagan texted to say he was on his way. He arrived, quickly confirmed the diagnosis (broken shower head) and noted the replacement I wanted - then had to travel to a neighbouring suburb when the local supplier didn't have it in stock.
He arrived back on site and soon had the shower head installed and working. The result… this evening is lovely gentle shower (I have low water pressure) and no flooded bathroom floor or wet hall carpet! Thank you Gagan."
