    "After a very long project planning period, works began and were over budget, bills were paid and company then went into liquidation and Tamati himself bankruptcy. This has been a serious cowboy job. Do not engage in any level of work with Tamati"

    "I would not recommend engaging with this company.
    Workmanship was poor, communication was poor, no follow through and our build is not completed.
    You might also have to contend with sub-contractor knocking at your door because Tamati doesn't pay them and won't return their phone calls or emails.    "

    "At first we were happy with the consultation and ideas they presented to us, and the design and layout of what we've ended up with is good.

    But once the construction started, things didn't go so well. Very, very poor communication and project management, and a low quality of work from sub-contractors (painting, plumbing, flooring).

    It was a fairly simple renovation project, but nothing went smoothly from the start. We're now having to get new contractors in to fix poor workmanship -… at our cost. Plus there are still big parts of the project left to do as we couldn't entrust them to finish the work to an acceptable standard, on budget, or even close to the schedule they proposed."
