"The company we'd initially planned to get to paint our house let us down, so I gave Kim at Prisma a call. They were able to fit us in at short notice which was amazing. He was helpful with giving ideas for colour choice, great with communication. Once started he kept coming around in the mornings to see how things were progressing. "We found Prisma Painters from looking through Google and reading the reviews on this website and can't recommend Prisma more. Kim was extremely professional and thorough when he came to inspect our property and the quote was well itemised. We had him price up the interior of a 2 bedroom home and I think the bulk of the time went into the preparation, we were super impressed with the quality of the finish given the canvas they had to begin with. The job was done in a timely manner and they left… the site in a clean and tidy state. We would definitely recommend Prisma as quality painters."

"I can't speak highly enough about the job that Kim and Ali did painting the exterior of our property. After initially starting job myself I opted to turn the remainder of the work over to a professional which is where the team at Prisma painters stepped in.
After meeting with a few other companies I choose Prisma for their expertise and attention to detail in discussing the plan for working on our house, which also came with a great level of consultation throughout the process. We also… found the team to be friendly and professional in completing the job to the highest detail and I can't recommend them highly enough!

"We selected Prisma from a list of painters supplied by our local Resene store. We contacted Kim and asked him to call on us to offer his suggestions on how we could revitalize the exterior of our home. (Two story town house in brick and cedar.) In particular the cedar stain was faded and the cedar weatherboards were very weather worn. Kim arrived on time and we found him very friendly and personable. He has great knowledge and experience of the painting process and provided useful… information and options of what could be done to protect and enhance the look of our home. He also had some great color suggestions. We accepted the quote from Prisma, the job has been done in a tidy manner and we are very pleased with the refreshed, modernized look of our place."

"Prisma Painters have modernised my kitchen by preparing and painting existing wooden kitchen cabinets, removing old wallpaper and painting the walls, doors and window frames. Kim advised on wall colours and I am delighted with the overall transformation.

"We got a card from our sister in-law who had work done in their bathroom (was small but looked great). We were wanting our house exterior painted and after a few quotes we were happy with what Kim offered and gave a great break down on what the job would involve. Got in touch with him and he arrived promptly and on time. There are sooooo many shades of white we asked Kim for some advice but had kind of an idea of the direction we wanted to go - some of his answers were awesome and made us feel… like we were making the right decisions. The lads that came and did the job were a pleasure to have around and gave minimal disruptions while we were home some days. Job finished and the house looks great, would highly recommend them and have them lined up when we start doing the interior :)"

"My wife and I took a fair bit of time looking for painters to prep and paint the outside of our home. We wanted it repainted top to bottom as it is an older 80's style home that needed a little updating on the outside. We wanted the job done properly and were prepared to pay a little more to have some consultancy and quality workmanship (we're terrible with colours ourselves). Kim was great at advising and pointing in the right direction with colour and design and was very helpful in clearly… outlining what had to be done and the cost. Before, during and after the job we were very happy with the quality of work and the experience working with Kim and his team. We were really happy with the final look which did wonders in updating our house. Of particular note was the quality of the painters involved. They took extreme pride in their work and it showed in the final result. Very happy customer and would highly recommend if you want a job done properly."

"Prisma Painters are truly unique in the world of tradies, for three reasons: they're good communicators. They're nice people. And they're good painters. I'm done with morons. I'm sticking with these guys.
I especially liked Kim's good advice on fine tuning our colour scheme. Brushies Paul and Kevin were respectful, hard working and nice to have around.
Prisma were also extraordinarily flexible and decent when it came to working with other suppliers on site. Nothing but good came from… these guys."

The team of guys were experienced, lovely, and they were very flexible with the tricky building delays we had. "We were very happy with the work that Kim and his team did painting the exterior of our house. The quote was not too expensive or too cheap, but very reasonable and also included some other work - such as small repairs + water blasting & staining our 2 decks - that needed to be done, which made everything so much easier.
I found Kim to be very helpful and informative in answering all the questions I had before he gave us a quote - unlike some of the other people we had quotes from. Kim… was very easy to get along with, and I felt comfortable in talking to him about what we were after - even when we disagreed on trim colours, it wasn't a problem!

There were some minor issues afterwards, that Kim was happy to come back and fix up - we know it is impossible for some of these things (like bubbling) not to happen on some surfaces, and Kim was very knowledgeable in working out why it had happened in certain areas and what could be done about it (or not).

We would be very happy to recommend Kim and his team at Prisma Painters to anyone looking to paint their house - and may well be getting them back in a few years to do the inside! :)

It definitely helped that we were away for the first week of preparation, but I felt confident that Kim and his team would respect our property while we were away."

"We contracted Prisma Painters to paint the exterior of our house. I can't recommend Kim and Prisma Painters more highly. We met with several painting companies for quotes before we made our decision. We choose Kim because we felt he was the most professional, honest and highly knowledgable in his approach - above all else we felt that we would be able to communicate openly and honestly with Kim throughout the process. Our house had not been painted in a long time and the exterior was in… very poor condition.
