    "A consultant was promptly available from Russells and we were able to select fabrics and blinds with ease. The issues arose when one of the fabrics was on backorder. No contact was made to let us know and when suggested install date came and went (mid-January) I ended up calling them myself. Lynette (Auckland install co-ordinator) advised me of delayed supply issue and said consultant should have told me. She was unaware we had no drapes at all and made arrangements for partial install of… drapes that were made and sitting waiting. Mid February backorder drape fabric arrived in NZ (again I called Lynette to get update). Now March I phoned Lynette again to be advised drapes made but not dispatched from Nelson. Hopefully they will arrive next week and be finally hung. At least I have only paid deposit - backorder is what it is but without effort on my part I could be still without drapes. Lynette comes across well but honestly wasn't expecting to be given impression commercial jobs take priority over orders that may be waiting...if residential property and ordering I would certainly not assume if ordering from them in future. They appear commercial/big job focused but maybe we were just unlucky."
