    "We had the worst experience with this company when they installed our heat pump.
    To start with they installed the heatpump on the wrong side of the house to where we had agreed. We had plants ripped out of the garden and thrown onto the lawn and left to die when they tried to fit the outside unit and fitted it so close to the back door that we could no longer open it all the way.
    They created damage to the gib in the wall where they tried to connect the power (a 6.5kW heat pump into the… back of a 10amp power point??? - for an company whose core business is residential/commercial electrical I find this particularly disgusting) Then they tried to cover up the damage by moving furniture in front of the power point.

    To get the issues rectified was a huge job in itself. The person we dealt with was amazingly arrogant and would not admit responsibility. We had to fight to get someone to even come and look at it.

    In the end we agreed to pay an additional $225 for them to rectify it as there was no way they were going to fix it free of charge and we could not be bothered with fighting any longer.

    Still not 100% happy with the rectified work either as they just filled the holes they created previously in the wall with silicone and the ducting is routed through an ugly and prominent ducting at hip height where a ground level ducting is possible and would be more appealing to the eye.

    Even 10 months later after the job was started I find it annoying to look at. It is not worth another fight to get this sorted because I know how far I would get and the stress is not worth it.

    Unfortunately we had taken advantage of the Genesis heat pump offer and they obviously have their preferred installers.

    Having said this our Panasonic CS-E18HKR heat pump works beautifully. But that is due to the manufacturer NOT the installer.

    In a word - disgusted!    "
