He was quick to respond and came over to the house the next day to give us a quote for repairing and skimming the walls in two bedrooms and the lounge. He was very clear in his explanation of the work involved and as we were happy with his quotation, he started work with his team later that week. 100%"I picked up Gary Simmons Plastering in the Rodney Times on the evening of Friday 18 September - by Sunday 20 September the job was done and dusted! Gary contacted me almost immediately on Friday after receiving my text and after visiting that evening to view the job (he was already in the area luckily enough) we arranged to start the job on Sunday. He rang on Saturday morning to say that his Saturday job had been shifted and that he was available for an immediate start. We arranged a start time… and we were off to the races!! Gary and his team of two arrived on time, scoped out what was needed and got off to a flying start. They worked diligently and without a pause (except for lunch) and cracked the back of it on Saturday. On Sunday they arrived as arranged and finished off. We were delighted! Gary has a great mannerism about him and we liked the way he coached and mentored his two fellahs. He has a great communication style and I'm sure they must just love working for him. I know it's always a bit of a lottery when you try out an advertisement in any regional paper as you never know what you might get. But this guy is just gold and trustworthy. When he came to do the quote he explained the process of the job in detail so we knew exactly what was to be done.
He said he couldn't make the scotia perfect as the original workman ship was out of alignment but he has it pretty near perfect. I am more than impressed. Garys workmanship is great.
Brendon that he had to help him a couple of times also has great workman ship . Plus his… other helper cleaned up really well.
As stated there was minimal dust after each days work.
Gary was also able to work around my work hours as I work from home. Gary and his crew were always polite and prompt always being on time. Gary let me know each day his arrival time.
