    "Purchased a spa through these guys.
    Wanted a swimming pool installed as well which turned out to be painful.
    We were told the person delivering the spa could do the quote for the pool installation.
    The spa was delivered on a Monday. The quote involved saying "Yup the pool will fit"
    I phoned the spa and pool factory asking if that is what they call a quote and was told "Yes that is all that was required to see if the pool would fit"
    We waited for an actual physical… quote.

    We had to constantly chase the spa and pool factory for the quote.

    The quote eventually was emailed to us without the excavation cost.

    We asked for the excavation quote on The Wednesday and was told the guy that does it was away until Thursday and would here back by Friday.

    It was the same guy that delivered the spa and said the pool would fit!

    We did not here back so an email was sent on the Friday again asking what was going on.

    The response I got was a phone call on the Saturday saying "Considering your expectations you should find another pool supplier"

    We were absolutely shocked!

    In total it took two weeks of communicating with three people through phone and email for the spa and pool factory to do absolutely nothing for us.

    Expecting the most simplest things related to a pool install is difficult for the spa and pool factory even though in their litterateur the claim to be able to do it all.

    In short these guys have the worst communication with customers and also within the company.

    WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SPA AND POOL FACTORY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!    "

    "We purchased 2 spas of this company and have had them both end up blistered in the bottom. Owner of the company has said he wont cover them under warranty with no reason supplied. Would not recommend this company for anything."

    "Installed a swimming pool and spa pool in February 2016. These guys did a great job - very professional. Had a few issues with a high water table which was unexpected and they dealt with this really well. We are very happy with the end result and would happily recommend them."

    "Warning to all people in the market looking for a good honest deal on a Spa Pool... Stay right away.. this guys bid our there own trademe auctions just to push up the price because they set there own reserve too low. - Check out Trademe auction Listing #: 892425727 (martin482) is Martin Jordan who works for them. They took our deposit and after we did some research from not hearing anything from the purchase we tried to get our money back. This is met with lies and hiding from phone calls. They… are dishonest and we now have to go to court to get our money back. Checkout the companies office for this place, it was formally listed as a panel beater,THE SPA & POOL FACTORY LIMITED (2338325) Registered previously - NORTH CITY COLLISION REPAIRS (2009) LIMITED (16 Jun 2010) so they have not been making pools and spas for over 30 years as they claim. Don't give them your money don't even waste your time you will be sorry and regret even hearing the name of this place...!!!"

    "I ordered a spa pool online. A little nervous about spending so much money with no personal contact I asked a lot of questions by email. I thought if I got clear information in writing I could rely upon it. I said upfront I would be unhappy paying 100% of the cost before receiving and checking the spa. This company told me by email I would pay 20% deposit (I did)and the balance on delivery. This offer gave me confidence that I could check the spa was in good working order before completing… payment, so I chose to give my business to Spa and Pool Factory on this basis. Later I was asked to pay in full before the spa was dispatched. I showed them my email trail and they refused to honour this offer, blaming employee error. I offered to pay 75% up front to show good faith and move things along. They refused. I sent more emails, made more phone calls and was offered the choice of paying 100% before the spa was delivered to me or getting my money back. As I was unhappy with the \"it\'s your problem, not our mistake\" attitude the manager showed, I opted for my money back. I\'ve called, I\'ve emailed - you\'ve guessed it - no return of deposit. Rather belatedly, I looked them up on the New Zealand Company Office register and I was not heartened to see the name of the sole director of the company associated with a number of liquidations and court cases. I\'m now potentially looking at a Disputes Tribunal case to recover my money. It\'s not life and death stuff but THIS SPA TURNED OUT TO BE LESS THAN RELAXING!!

    Follow up : was finally told by the factory manager that the owner Tony Radisich had told him we would never get our money back unless we took down all the negative feedback about our experience with this company. Needless to say we didn\'t and took them to the disputes tribunal. At the tribunal they offered to pay back the money if we took down all negative feedback. We didn\'t accept and opted for the legal judgement instead - result...the referee decided in our favour and ordered the Spa and Pool Factory Penrose to pay back the money. Lucky we have laws in this country that mean people can\'t just keep your money if they feel like it!    "

    "They have moved to Gt South Rd Penrose. Had two dealings and never again. Purchased a spa cover and it took countless phone calls and visits to actually get the product delivered. The second was they sold me a product that was not suitable for my pool. When I went back to return they did not want to know. This is not a reputable company."

    "After six months we are still waiting for delivery of the spa pool cover lifter. We paid $499 for this and have contacted the showroom continually. The Head Office was contacted and the person who answered refused to put us through to someone to register a complaint. Our only course of action seems to be the Disputes Tribunal."
