    "Do not use this company, terrible service, damaged my stuff, no communication when arriving late, exorbitant fees, total lack of professionalism, they even took with them my tools box
    I’ve move several times with other companies,the last time I moved from Tauranga to Auckland, and this time I chose speedy movers to move 10 minutes away.
    When I booked the movers, I let them know it was a double garage 3 bedroom house up a steep driveway with an upright piano, so it would need at least 4 strong people to move it, as the truck would most likely not go up the driveway.

    On the moving day, they didn’t show up in time, and after calling 10 times leaving voicemails, and finally getting ahold of the sales department 2 hours from the time they were meant to arrive, I got informed that the truck was broken, and that they would not be able to send a team till 4 pm.

    The team arrived at 5, and it was 2 skinny young guys maybe early 20s, who immediately said they couldn’t move the stuff, they would need more people, they weren’t prepared to do packing, and that the truck they brought was too small to fit a double garage 3 bedroom house contents.

    They reached out to another team of 4 skinny young guys, also early 20s to help move and ti bring a new truck . The team didn’t have any tools to unbolt the beds so they took mine ( they were meant to also do packing which I ended up doing as I was waiting from 8 am till 5pm)

    It took them till midnight to finally arrive at the destination house, at which time I was done with them so I asked them to leave everything down the garage and I would sort things out the next day.

    I got charged 4 times as much as I was quoted, as the teams took more hours to pack and move, than a different company did to do the same between Tauranga to Auckland for the same stuff. they broke a bunch of furniture, kept my toolbox, and offered me only a $100 discount for all my troubles.

    Never again will I deal with this people, and I hope this is a cautionary tale for anyone who are thinking of using them.

    "A nightmare from beginning to end. No phone call on the day of move despite leaving multiple messages on the only contact number they had given me. Finally, after emailing I got a phone-call and the explanation that the driver was ill and that he was ringing around trying to find a replacement. No luck. So an 8am move did not happen at all that day (and I had to cancel the cleaners who were ready and raring to go - Sorry Ramiro. Puma's Cleaning Services are fabulous and there were four men out of a job that day due to Speedy Movers). The following day, no phone call again, then finally 1 hr 45 late for a rush job (the new tenant had booked a truck for 8am that morning), the team arrive with a story about someone being sick and having to find a replacement. The team took a break on the way to the new place without letting us know in advance, although they did text me halfway through the break. They had to make 2 trips because the truck they brought was too small. Then it took a week to amend the invoice in consideration of some of these factors. They couldn't even get the client's name (my little sister) right! Will never ever use their service again. Shocking, disappointing, frustrating and infuriating - nothing speedy about it."
