"I found Alan to be outstanding if I think at the Electricians I have had to my property in the past. He was prompt, gave great information during our initial conversation, was reliable - arrived on time, and was a great communicator.
Alan made sure I was well informed on the details and possible outcomes as many of the fittings he was replacing were very old.
Alan made sure that I was making the decisions and didn't try and talk me into options that would have been more expensive for me.

I would highly recommend Alan from Adept Electrical to anyone needing an Electrician. I will certainly be using him for all future work.

"Bought 2 hours work using a Grabone voucher. Asked him to install an additional power point. He couldn't do that he said, "No room on the power board for an RCD unit." Asked him to replace the existing light above bathroom mirror with a new strip light I provided. No he couldn't/wouldn't do that. I asked was it illegal for him to install the strip light provided. "No it wasn't illegal, but is the wrong sort" he replied. (It was a Superlux strip light shown above a bathroom mirror in their catalogue so I don't know). He then broke the fluorescent tube while examining the existing light. I asked whether he knew about security systems. "Yes" he tells me, so I ask him to explain some things about our security system. He pushes a few buttons then tells me he can't interfere with a system someone else has installed."
