"Be WARNED if you use Christchurch Removals.
We used them for removal and storage while our house was getting earthquake repairs.
They have failed to return some very expensive items.
They have admitted that an employee has stolen from us and the matter has been reported to Police.
To date no satisfactory offer has been made to resolve the issue.
This has been extremely costly and stressful for us and i will keep this site updated as we work towards resolution.
Unfortunately given the… attitude of Christchurch Removals we are not hopeful of a resolution anytime soon and believe a Judge/Court will need to force a decision upon them.

THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE USED if they are not prepared to deal with this problem in a business like manner."

"The company needs to read their promotional brochure sent out to potential customers so that they are aware of pledges made and customer expectations.
The packing guys were very pleasant, but a number of valuable items were damaged due to poor packing. The only contact we have had with the company is when we have contacted them - they do not return calls or feel the need to respond to customer requests. We were advised to collect quotes for the damaged items, which we did, and are still… awaiting their advices. We have phoned the company numerous times to speak to either Steve or Dan for the past 6 weeks, but they seem to be \'too busy\' to attend to our requests.

If anyone is looking for a removal company to get their belongings from A to B, without worry of damage, then this is the company to call, but if you are someone with items of value and are looking for a company who \'cares for your belongings as if they were our own\' then please do not entertain the idea of contacting Christchurch Removals for your move, you will be extremely dissapointed if you do."

"We used these guys for storage and came back to find our stuff covered in mice droppings and at least 3 dead mice in the unit. They\'re communication and flexibility leaves a lot to be desired. Prices have increased since earthquake. Clearly milking the situation of supply and demand in CHC. Would not use again. Sad because the original owners were a pleasure to deal with. "
