Dimension Design / Architects / Building Designers in Titirangi

1 - Drawings flagged during building consent application, leading council to send RFI's for drawing changes. (not expected of a professional architect)
2 - Barry went on holiday and did not answer or forward on councils RFI’s, leading to an initial 8 week delay. (bad management and communications)
3 - House specifications provided for incorporation into house plans were discussed many times… due numerous noted omissions when reviewing his plans. Worst of all Barry failed to communicate some important points to the engineers for structural drawings, which caused re-do of many drawings and further delays. (unprofessional)

4 - Barry demanded payment for drawings being redone even those requiring alteration due omissions. Granted I had made some changes through the process but not all that Barry claimed additional payment for.

4 - Barry’s answer to these issues were either, because I made change requests or 'oh well, it is what it is'....

5 – In my opinion Barry’s replies were often very late, as he had other work in progress, including at the time design / building of his own house. I don't believe my project got the attention to detail expected.

6 – In my opinion Barry was more keener to pursue and insist on his payment schedule than he was to follow through with professional architectural services.

6 - I found out the hard way that some building changes made during building process, Barry denied knowing anything about .. and the working relationship I was lead to believe existed with builder was far from accurate.

I would not trust or rely on Barry or his company to build a chair let alone a house again… and highly recommend people don’t use this company."
