    "We contacted Fine Touch Construction Limited for an extention to our existing dwelling. We also paid 14K upfront even before th work started as he advised that he would complete the work in one months time and use all his resources to get our house done. The work started late and his men worked non stop for one whole week and we were impressed at the pace at which the work was commencing. We further paid as he advised that he needed the money for material and labour. He then stopped work after… one week and it has been a nightmare ever since. To cut the story short, the work never got completed, his men was not trades men ( we later came to know the workers hired by him were painters!). To this date the roof leakes and the water seeps in the lounge and bedrooms. The court has ruled in our favour and the judge was shocked looking at the photos of his workmanship and quality of the house. To the extent that the judge asked "how can a uilder not use galvanised nails and use the ordinary iron nails on the roof which rust!). We have lodged his account with baycorp with no luck. And it sadens to know he drives a holden and has built a new house and has put all his assets in his wifes name. Call it being clever and an expert con.

    Please do not use this builder under any cinrcumstance. Our hard earned money is lost as we have tried through the collections unit at the Ministry of Justice and Baycorp to get our money back and despite the court ruling and sending him warning letters, he still continues to enjoy life.    "
