    "I asked Brian to come and tell me why ash was falling into the ceiling and while he was there, sweep both chimneys. He swept the chimneys and "forgot" to look for why ash was going into the ceiling. When I called him the next day he said he had overlooked the issue and then said he thought it was caused by a faulty stay. When I asked him why he didnt fix it, given that was the purpose of the visit he said he couldnt just cut it without getting permission. There was someone home at the… time and he didnt ask permission. Then he got nasty and said that he didnt want to fix it anyway because he didnt like my attitude and wasnt going to come and fix it. This was a totally unprofessional response, he should have just apologised and admitted he hadnt looked for the problem."

    "Brian did a great job, replaced the cowl on the flue, replaced the fire bricks inside the fireplace and swept the chimney. He cleaned up afterwards and charged a reasonable rate."

    "I would highly recommend Brian to anyone looking for a chimney sweep. We have just had him clean our chimney for the 4th year in a row. He always turns up on time, is clean and tidy and is very friendly. It is a pleasure to do business with him. Brian hasn't changed his price from $69 in all the time we have been using him.     "I was surprised that GST was added to the $60 not included which made it a lot more expensive than similar quotes.
    Previous sweeps had vacuumed out the fireplace afterwards but Brian swept the soot and mixed some with a few ashes . Overall I was unhappy and would not employ him again.    "

    "Brian turned up on time, did the job quickly and cleaned up after himself. He recommended cheap ways to fix our grate and said we should get a spark guard to protect our polished floor. He was well priced compared to the 7 other companies I rang. He was a bit gruff but the service was adequate and I\'d use him again."
