    "All promises, no delivery. My family and I were ending our lease with our landlord and wanted to return the property in great condition. Upon getting in touch with Dean Smith of Mr Green, we were promised a free onsite consultation which never happened. On the day of the job, Mr. Green employees arrived in an unmarked vehicle and not wearing uniforms (contrary to what their website states); then after looking at the property, told us that it would cost much more than what they initially quoted over the phone. At the end of the day, the job they did inside the house was average as I still needed to point out many areas that were left untidy. The outside windows were never cleaned; Dean being adamant that it was not part of their service (their website states it is inclusive).

    The job they did for grounds maintenance was exceedingly poor. They only worked on a small area of the property, leaving everything else untouched. When asked why this was so, Dean blamed my poor gardening skills and decided that it was my landlord’s problem; despite the fact that he was hired to do this job.

    Regarding payment, Dean demanded cash only yet did not have a receipt book so he promised to issue a receipt via email that same evening – I received my receipt over four weeks later after many arguments with him. In one of my email correspondences with Dean, he says that he would only issue a receipt if I acknowledge, in writing, that he provided a great cleaning service and that I am happy with the outcome.

    Due to their poor service and abusive correspondences, I filed a complaint with Mr. Green’s National Franchisor, Julian Smith (Dean’s brother) who said that it was my problem and that he had better things to do than help resolve the situation.

    Two months on and many arguments later, Dean agrees to gives me a partial refund.

    As a testament to Mr. Green’s quality of work, my landlord finds it difficult to believe that professionals actually cleaned the property.

    In summary, you can save yourself a lot of money, avoid unnecessary stress, and clean the property to a higher standard by doing it yourself. I will never use Mr. Green again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.

    "This is the 4th time i have used Mr Green and once again the quality of work went beyond our expectations. Had whole house cleaned along with windows and carpets and everything was cleaned to a immaculate standard. Would highly recommend this company.

    "Purchased via grabone deal. Arrived when he said he would - and got straight into it. Dusting/ hoovering in was ok - on the open floor hoovering was much better than my own hoovering although he didn\'t move furniture/ couch (which I would if doing a thorough clean). However, kitchen and bathroom steamclean were my main reasons for hiring Mr Green. Job on both of these areas was awesome. The marks from top of fridge freezer were blitzed - and even the doors of the fridge freezer were steam cleaned. House also smelt lovely after. Grabone pricing meant it was an excellent value for money and took a lot of pressure off me. Thankyou!"

    "Recently purchased a Mr Green Voucher on Groupy and upon first communication with Mr Green were were not overly impressed. We wanted attitional services completed ontop of what we had purchased with the Groupy Voucher and right up until the day of the job we didnt know 100% what it was going to cost us for the additional services. When the team turned up on the day we were supposed to have had our windows inside and out which never happened. We were told they would be back to complete and we have still not had all the windows completed all we got was a discount on the additional work after being asked to pay for everything that was done. The team seemed to be in a real rush to get to their next appointment and seemed that they were rushing things. A close friend of mine also purchased a voucher and surprise surprise when they turned up (late) they rushed with their property and never completed everything either and then booked 3 additional appointments to come back and complete what wasnt done and still not had it all completed. We will not be using Mr Green again there has to be better service out there than this. I would not recommend them at all."

    "I used the deal from grabone for a steam clean of the kitchen and bathroom, surface dusting and vacuuming. The steam clean was great. My bathroom and kitchen looked wonderful. Unfortunately the steam clean took 1.5 hours which only left 30 mins to dust and vacuum the rest of the house. That is definitely not enough time to do event a decent job. Most of the countertops still had dust on them and the floors (hardwood) looked like maybe they were swept but definitely not vacuumed. Had I paid full price for this or only got the dusting and vacuuming, I would have been very angry. It was fine for the deal, but I would never hire them or recommend them to anyone else."

    "The job itself wasn\'t too bad - and the people, when I got a chance to speak to them were very polite and helpful. They were also flexible given some changes to the job. However, on both occasions they were over an hour late - no one called to let me know they\'d be that late. I spent a lot of wasted time hanging around waiting for them to show up. I\'d recommend them for the service, but make sure you make a time where it doesn\'t matter if they\'re late!"

    "Outstanding effort by Mr green (Johnny) he turned up on time and was very professional, he started and finished the job in the time quoted for with amazing results in the Bathroom, kitchen & lounge.
    I had previously been told that the stains in my carpet could not be removed and the carpet should be replaced, however the agent Johnny was able to remove all of them and the carpet now smells and looks almost brand new.
    Thank you Mr green I have no problem recommending you to anyone.

    "I had Mr Clean clean our house when we moved out. Dean was great to deal with and arrived dead on time. They did a much better job of cleaning the house than we could have, and with a minimum of fuss. House was left spotless and both we and our landlord was very pleased with the results. Highly recommended :)"
