"Fantastic Plumber - so courteous + helpful and found a leak / replaced Hot Water Cylinder valve within about 15mins. He came out on the day even though the job was not urgent. I had called another plumber couple months ago after having high water bills for months (poss a year!) - had put it off in the "too hard basket" then as had expected to be in for hours of work to find leak. Great guy - so appreciate a trustworthy Tradie! Thanks so much Ash! So appreciated."

"Outstanding job by Ash!! Excellent communication, able to find out the cause of the issue- we were having lukewarm hot water with weak pressure from the shower from the main bathroom. Some were quoting to replace hot water cylinder quoting an arm and a leg to fix even on the phone. Ash was great with contacts and was able to accommodate us quicky. Once at site, he was able to come up with a quick diagnosis, followed by the repair job to fix the issue. The efficiency just speaks volumes as to… the depth of his experience! Simply the best ever for the last 15 years I have dealt with all trades in Auckland!!! I highly recommend Ash !! He saved my world today and made our family so much happier!!!!!! "We discovered a leak in my friends hot water cylinder in the early evening around 6.00pm. We rang around plumbers in the Forrest Hill /North Shore Areas trying to find someone to answer for advice and if they could come on Friday to exchange the cylinder. No one answered or replied until we rang AP Plumbing and talked directly to Ash. He gave us much advice and even tracked down a cylinder for us in the evening but unfortunately due to a family illness and a very busy partner Ash could not… attend on the Friday. He gave us a Rheem contact as he believed the cylinder would be under warranty and his thoughts on the cylinder leakage. His advice, help and communications plus follow up to make sure we were catered for was outstanding. I only wish he had been available to do the job for us! We highly recommend AP Plumbing and Ash to do your plumbing needs….I know he will do a good job and his pricing will be very fair!"

"When a pipe from our hot water cylinder suddenly started leaking, we called Ash and within less than an hour he came over and fixed it. "Twice we needed urgent work to prepare our houses for sale. Twice, Ash responded within an hour of being called - once on a Sunday; once in the evening. Nathan arrived within a day each time and managed the repairs despite being thrown a few tricky, historic plumbing peculiarities with the original installations. Ash checked with us after each job to make sure everything was okay before we paid the bill. We've used a lot of plumbers on different properties over the years. A P Plumbing beats… them all."

"We chose Ash based on the feedback on this website and really glad that we did. Our rental property has "water issues" since we owned it and had had several groups of professionals look through it with different remedies but still fall short of the new HHS requirements. Ash worked out his solution in April 2021 but didn't completely solve the problem. When we contacted him again almost a year later, he responded promptly, made several site visits and worked out a few more remedies… without any further charge. I was completely blown away by his craftmanship and integrity, and the willingness to go extra mile for problem-solving. In the meantime, we also used his service to connect water at a family house. As usually, he responded promptly and professionally, and reduced the final invoice as the work was less than he initially estimated. Cannot recommend him more - have refer his service to our Property Manager for her portfolio of clients."

"We had a leaky sink in the kitchen which needed urgent attention as it caused damage to our flooring and we were unable to fix it ourselves. Ash came out on a short notice which was much appreciated, he was easy to communicate with and had the sink fixed in no time (got the replacement parts the same day). Costs were transparent. "Last week during the COVID-19 crisis the pipe in the bathroom cracked. I was very nervous about having a plumber come to the house, AND if I could get somebody to come. I spoke to Ash Parker with my concerns and he assured me his visit would be handled with the utmost safety and professionalism.
He came within half an hour and was wearing PPE. He finished the job with no fuss at all and even mopped the floor before he left.

"I texted Ash on Sunday re: water heater problem and he immediately replied (even it was Sunday) and arranged a time to visit the next day. When he and his colleague arrived on site, the problem was not happening and he quickly checked the tank and advised not to change anything at the moment as the problem did not show up. He asked just to call again when problem recurs. He did not even charge for the call out visit. Thanks. Will definitely call him again on any plumbing problem."

Fitted new kitchen lever tap and fixed hot water cylinder pressure relief valve - even replaced pipe which was sub-standard with a custom bent copper pipe. Realised he bought the wrong replacement valve but came back the next morning with the correct one, with no extra charge. Would definitely use their services again."

"Ash and Max have just completed a project for us; adding a full bathroom (HW shower, vanity & toilet) in the warehouse area of our commercial premises in Albany. It was a complicated job involving concrete cutting through the floor slab to bring drainage under a concrete tilt slab wall. From the outset, Ash had a positive can-do attitude. And his network of reliable trade contacts meant the concrete cutting, building, and electrical work was all coordinated by Ash - taking a lot of… pressure off me. "Discovered we had a leak in our ensuite and rang around without success till we tried No Cowboys and wanted someone nearby. "We had a water main burst right before xmas and as it was on the property side it was our issue to deal with. We were on holiday when trying to arrange a plumber to investigate and out of the 3 people I tried, Ash replied within hours of my request.
We arranged a day for Ash to come and have a look and he was prompt, professional and gave me a couple of options and prices estimates.
He also arranged to fit me in amongst a busy schedule and when he arrived to do the work, he was on time and… did a great job in fixing the broken water main as also restored the hole that he had to cut in the driveway back to a high standard.

I would certainly recommend Ash to anyone...he does what he says and does a great job."

"I would rate Ashley Parker at 100%. He contacted me to apologise for being late (not very) did a quick and very efficient job, charged a very reasonable rate and was helpful in discussing my other house maintenance problems. He advised me to defer another plumbing job. An excellent honest attitude. Will use him again, definitely.

"I would highly recommend Ash. He was punctual, fast and his quote was spot on. He did a great job plumbing our washing waste outlet hose underneath the sink. He was also friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely use again."

"I phoned Ash due to a significant water leak in the pipe from the water meter to the house. He came around after work the next day and was able to replace the pipe the following day.
Ash was very helpful, friendly and professional. His pricing was VERY reasonable. I will certainly use him again and recommend him to others."

"Ash responded to my call late afternoon setting an appointment for the next morning. Blocked Kitchen Sink[ & dishwasher outlet] Turned up on time. Assessed the problem, said that he just might be able to clear the blockage with an old plumbers inexpensive remedy. Worked a treat. Cleared smartly. Ash was friendly, professional efficient & knowledgeable."

"We called Ash in a hurry after we discovered we had a big flood of water under the house and we needed a plumber in a hurry. He came around promptly. Ash crawled under the house (not easy because of limited head room) but didn't find an issue. He then worked out that the main water inlet pipe must be leaking under ground and then coming up under the house. He replaced the entire inlet line with a new heavy duty one which was not easy given paths and retaining walls had been built since the… first line was installed when the house was built. Great problem solver and finished the job in one long day. No issues since and water consumption is well down on previous. Would definitely use him for all our work now."

"i would 100% recommend Ash. He is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He is also honest and on one occasion recommended a solution to me that saved me a heap rather then just doing what I asked and ripping me off. Another time he found and fixed a problem before it became more expensive for me. Just what you want in a professional tradesman."

"Ash did all the plumbing work for the renovation of our two bathrooms. He was very friendly and easy to deal with. He did a fabulous job with very high quality finishings. He left everything neat and tidy. We will definitely use Ash again and recommend him to others."

"Have had Ash replacing our hot water cylinder and had him doing plumbing jobs at our house and our rental. Our tenants had a huge blockage on a Sunday and after phoning Ash he went to their property straight away and fixed it all. He is a great plumber and I would recommend him to anyone who needed someone efficient and very pleasant and lovely to deal with."

"We had an emergency plumbing job required after a pipe burst one morning. I called Ash after a reccomendation from my parents.
Ash provided some advice over the phone to limit our damage, and rushed overto our house as soon as possible. After a bit of investigation he found some significant problems with the type of pipe and fittings used in the house. He provided some great insights in to the most cost effective ways to repair the current situation, and also gave us a good understanding of… what we can do to prevent similar events in the future.

I will be calling Ash for all of my future plumbing needs."
