  "We had Paul Taylor do a major renovation job in our house from April - June 2010 in which our house was basically gutted and relined and altered. We found every aspect of his service to be highly professional and efficient. We spent exactly what he quoted and he worked quickly and the finish was excellent. He was happy to source materials for us when required (like matching matai floor boards) and also recommended a fantastic sparky and gib stopper.

  I'd happily recommend Paul to anyone… looking for a professional service and well finished job. The house he renovated has just been bought by a builder who commented on how well the work had been done! We will definitely be using Paul in the future."

  "Positives first - Paul arrived when he said he would to the minute and made storming progress within the first 10 minutes before I had to leave for work. Reliability scores 100%.
  The only reason i have given him 80% for his quality of work is he replaced a doorframe for me and then informed me I would have to replace the flashing myself above the door - an unforseen cost that would have been minutes for him to have sourced and sorted whilst he was here. I don\'t mind, it\'s a small job, but… still... to ask another $100 for it is a bit steep - the flashing was $25, then cut to length and knocked in and sealed. Should have been done with the rest of the frame really. Otherwise, his work was very good.
  
  Value-wise you get what you pay for. He ain\'t cheap, but he\'s quite good. Unfortunately, he took a couple of hours longer than I was expecting and his material costs are pretty hard to swallow (see above)
  
  The only reason he scored badly on communication is I had to chase him for a date. Krissy answers the phone a lot and is patient and professional, but getting a date from Paul was quite difficult. Maybe email would be best in future
  
  This review may seem a bit harsh on the scores - but overall I value quality of work and reliability above all else and he scores quite highly in those departments and I intend to use him for a couple of future projects we have on the boil."
